    I got these free with the purchase of a Pioneer 43 inch TV that has Fire TV on it. I am not a big fan of these Alexa devices due to privacy concerns and I think they are just lazy devices. I gave the 2 freebies to my kids and they use them to play music on in their rooms.

    Got this free with a Ring Doorbell so had zero investment. Works great for listening to music and getting weather information. Have asked questions and got good answers. Use a bluetooth speaker so the sound is better.

    Gave this as a gift. Mostly used to turn off lights. And play music and give a news briefing. Sometimes I think it’s easier to turn the light off like I always have but other than that, it’s been good and convenient. My kids play games and seem to enjoy. This thing can do way more than we have yet to explore since Christmas. I will likely invest to have more in additional rooms.

    The 3rd Gen Echo Dot provides a good upgrade in sound volume and clarity over the previous two generations. It’s hard to believe that much volume is coming from this tiny speaker! Alexa is great and easy to use as always.
