I love it. My mother n law was at my house and asked if I can get her one. . I had her talking to Alexa to find the music she wanted to here. its very user friendlyand easy for an elderly person to use .

Haven’t unpacked it yet but I’ve had heard great things about this product and the price was ridiculously cheap basically didn’t cost me anything so got it for my future home

Somedays you just want to yell at someone for fun. Alexa allows me to do this and not deal with them later. It would be great to change the name to help others relieve stress as well on a more personal level. Alexa mostly plays music and serves as an alarm clock. I cant imagine a life without her, she completes me. I shall call her, mini me.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. Here says is okay not as good quality of music as our original Alexa lady speaker.

I had also purchased the Google assistant system and found the echo to be a bit more user friendly so I purchased 4 of them. Great item!

There is nothing wrong with it works perfectly fine I did not give it five stars because it does spy on you

I love our Echo Dot . It is very helpful for any things from getting different measurements on centimeters versus inches. Great to to help with the kids for questions They ask out of the blue.

From playing music, controlling lights and plugs, ..... we are still exploring all the possibilities. My kids also use it to validate their math homework. (e.g. multiplications, division, conversions)

I love all the different things it can do and how small it is

Decent sound, it isn't a Bose so it doesn't sound like one but it works great for a college kid

Not terrible for asking questions and such but not impressed with the music capabilities

The set-up instructions could be better written and more detailed. We finally got it figured out and it works fine.

3rd Generation looks sharp, sounds sharp, lights up to tell me I have a notification, e.g., "Alexa, what are my notifications?" "You have one notification: Your [Amazon package] has arrived."

This is my third echo device and I’m telling you they don’t come any better than this. The voice recognization works so well it never interprets my words for anything more than what it is.
