Somedays you just want to yell at someone for fun. Alexa allows me to do this and not deal with them later. It would be great to change the name to help others relieve stress as well on a more personal level. Alexa mostly plays music and serves as an alarm clock. I cant imagine a life without her, she completes me. I shall call her, mini me.

I love being able to ask Alexa anything! Even something as simple as play Christmas music! She finds a station. A must have!

I am more of an Apple person and wanted to buy the HomePod mini but it was more than I wanted to spend. I came across the echos and decided to try it out. The installation was so easy! I was just planning to see what all it did and automatically paired with my TV so it surprised me what all it can do.

I bought this for my brothers family. Love it too!

The unit is easy to and fun to use. Sound quality is good.

The Echo Dots have gotten so cheap that you can put them everywhere in the house and have access to all your connected devices and music. Great when paired with smart outlets and switches.

3rd Generation looks sharp, sounds sharp, lights up to tell me I have a notification, e.g., "Alexa, what are my notifications?" "You have one notification: Your [Amazon package] has arrived."

Works good. Daughter seems to love it. Got one for different rooms. Sometimes they interfere with each other.

Love it! I put it in the kitchen and use it as timer and for converting measurements.

Great product for music in a space you're working at home in, or need a quick review of weather conditions. I do not find myself using it as often as I thought I would, but definitely a nice add on to things. I do like the intercom feature [if you have more than one echo]. It does have a nice speaker, and picks up on voices well.

I dont know why I’m just now writing a review for the 3rd gen but oh well. Short and sweet. Good device for the price I got it for $24.99 and it’s still going strong. I have the 4th gen and there is little difference except in the speaker layout and aesthetic. Still a great little smart assist.

I like the concept but I do unplug it often because I feel like it’s listening to everything even when not asked something.

I just love it, can almost do just about anything.

Nice and very easy to setup and affordable to give a try.
