I got this item as a promo item with another purchase. If you aren't a tech person, you might struggle with set up on this device. You have to download an Alexa app on your phone and then setup the device but from there you have to download skills to really take advantage of this device, It's not a necessity in life like most things but it might be helpful especially with people with lots of smart devices.

This works great and does what we needed it to do. Only rating 4 stars because the app isn’t the easiest to use.

This is a good product. I previously had the echo dot 2. I have upgraded to this and it was a very easy set up and does everything is supposed to do. Kind of fun to play with.

Bought 2 of these for XMas presents. Both people loved them. It's a great assistant to get you through your day!

Audio quality was better than expected from such a small device. Keeps my kids entertain asking Alexia stupid questions.

I’ve got three of these now, as well as the echo input, all throughout my house. Really helps to coordinate smart commands for your house regardless of your location, so I can control everything from pretty much every part of my home. On their own, these have pretty good sound too, and they’re solid, well-built devices.

Alexa is very useful. I bought it on sale and almost all the rooms in my house have it now. I can control most of my appliances and electricals via voice now.

Works perfectly with Alexa! I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to expand the device's functionality.

It actually works very good for such a small speaker and is a good way to experiment with the Alexa universe.

My 13 year old absolutely love her Echo Dot (Alexa is probably sick of her, lol). We haven't had any issues thus far and I'm thinking about purchasing one for myself.

I was sceptical to own one of these at first but after I used to get quick answers, learn the weather for the day, or remind me of things I was sold. I would reccomend.

I have four dots and each have been awesome to use. I especially like playing my music through my speakers group and it’s like having piped in music throughout all 3 levels.

I normally don't use these but i kept this one just to test it out. Its not bad.

It works well without interruption of any kind,reliable and it is good with music. So far I am very happy with this product. I will recommend it to anyone.

I was on the fence if I really needed one of these, but I'm really glad I got one. It's so handy to just ask her questions or play music, turn on lights! Very nice to have

It drives me crazy but my husband loves it. For me it is useful for time, weather, etc. My husband sits there and asks it question.. ALL NIGHT LONG!! He loves it!!

Not a fan of being listened to. But as it came free with a TV no real complaints.

I already had an echo dot (2nd Gen) before buying this one. The 3rd Gen seems to be more responsive than the last generation.
