I like being able to find out the time when it's dark or I don't have my glasses on. I can turn off lights in other parts of the house when I don't want to get up to do it. One of the best things is being able to create a list of people to contact if you need help. The ability to get reminders and create lists I can get on my phone are great too, Love the Echo!!

We use the timer and music functions while in the kitchens, as well as the drop in feature to have intercoms around the house. I especially enjoyed the routine function that allows us to set a series of command functions i.e. turn off lights, and turn on switch with just one phrase. Works well with Phillips Hue and TP Link switches

I have a handicapped mother and if she is in one room and falls, all see has to do is say "all room call" or she can even call my cell phone or 911 without worrying about where the phone is. This has given me piece of mind. Pair it with light bulbs for extra security while moving between darkrooms.

Especially my wife. I have smart switches all over my house and this device controls them all by just saying Alexa turn on/off lights. I will have it controlling my smart lock and smart sprinkler system after I install them.

They are the perfect, insanely affordable, smart speaker to link throughout your apartment or house. I have one in the kitchen and one in the kid’s room to play their favorite music to get them to sleep. Amazon definitely stands by this product so if you have issues you can contact Best Buy and also let Amazon know.

Great for weather and news highlights. It is nice that it can be setup to use for phone calls
