I had never bought one until I went to Best Buy to buy a TV. The sales person said you need one of these. I am so glad that I did buy it.

Love my Echo Dot. It does everything I need it to. Runs the lights in the house

Serves as a clock in my bedroom and I also use it to control my lights. I sleep with music so it plays soothing music for me while I sleep.

Alexa seems to work much better than Siri. The microphones on this are good for picking up the call word. The music quality is good enough for light background music.

You can now announce messages from your phone to all the alexas in you house

Great gift! Only complaint was it was hard to set up at first with the Alexa app.

Small finger print. It has Alexa and the sound of the speaker is amazing . It sounds better the an 2nd generation. The sound quality is superior to Google Home . Great buy !

It works perfectly fine. Just as it is suppose to do - It wasn't hard to link. It connected with the one I already had at home.

Good size. I have 4 of them love having one in each room of the house to listen to same music. also like that i dont have to yell to communicate with my kids lol

Bought three of these, two for the house and one for parents. Super easy to use and set up. Can't believe I waited so long to get one. They're super useful.

I already own two 2nd generation echo dots. I received this 3rd generation dot as an included item with another purchase. This dot is hard of hearing. I have been less than 24 inches from it and it doesn't answer. But the 2nd generation dot that is 17 feet away in another room answers me! The 3rd generation looks prettier, but I'll take the "Plain Jane" 2nd generation any day.

If you want access to Alexa, this is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to get it! Easy to use and does what it’s supposed to.

Works just as great as our other alexa devices. We placed this in the kids play room and it connects to our main Alexa in our home. And we can connect back and forth.

A few glitches when streaming music but still better than listening to radio.

We got this for the kids room. They love it. Works very well.

I must say i dont like how the speaker sounds but it does have a great mic and good wifi antenna built in. This speaker isnt the one that is needed for digital clock when saying it provides that but its a ok device.
