I have two other Alexa/Echo devices. I purchased this one during the Christmas Sale so it was cheaper than usual. I purchased it to use in the garage to listen to streaming radio - works perfect. It hangs on my peg board - I use voice to turn it on and voice to turn it off. The only thing I'm not sure about how the heat / humidity will will have an effect on it later on.

These things are so handy to have around the house. We have several of them scattered around, although this is our first 3rd Gen. No noticeable differences in functionality from 2nd Gen. If you can deal with Amazon monitoring all your conversations, it is great to always be able to shout out questions, like "how's the weather", "how many tablespoons in a cup" or "what time is the Broncos game tonight".

I love this thing, hook up was easy and it has a great sound for such a small speaker.

I was on google, but just bought a tv with Alexa built in so I figured I could use this rather than the remote so why not grab some echos and try that ecosystem? So far so good. It picks up our voices even with a lot of background noise.

Great price when on sale. The volume is much louder than the last model however the bass on this one seems to be to much. Kinda muffles songs at times.

Better ergonomics and better speaker than the previous 2 versions. Alexa capabilities are improving all the time, still a way to go. Pairs with a lot of other smart gadgets for the home.

Great sound and easy to set up. We are using for intercom system in the house.

It's a more robust, more stable option that I purchased after becoming totally unsatisfied with my Google Home mini. The GH would constantly become unpaired from devices, The Echo lets me pretend I live one the starship Enterprise, seamlessly integrates with the third-party apps that control my smart lights, and has tons of cool features. 100% would recommend.

Got this for my wife for Christmas a year ago and we love it. We use it in the kitchen and living room and the speaker gives out so much sound you can hear it really well throughout the house. Alexa is very responsive and understands us for the most part most of the time. In all a great product and we will probably be adding another to our household in the future.

What can you say? Echo dots are so useful. I can play my music, listen to Sirius, check the weather, and a thousand other tasks. Best of all, this item was free with a tv purchase. These are simple, well made devices that one can customize with whatever floats your boat. I have a few of them around the house now.

This was a bonus gift with the Eero Wifi Mesh system I recently purchased. A nice addition to the other Echoes I already have. Love that My Music can be played everywhere in the house an Echo is located. Simply tell Alexa ‘Play My Music Everywhere’ and like magic, your home is filled with music! It will get a lot of use! Thank you for this great bonus item!
