For a small echo it does a great job! I would love more bass but that’s okay I’m very satisfied. The over sound is great and it can be very loud :)

Sometimes Alexa is a brat and acts like she can't hear you, but for the most part of works well and is really convenient. Also be cautious though if you have kids. They'll end up on a phone call with your boss while you're in the bathroom. Or something crazy. Said child may also continuously interrupt you while saying "Alexa" so that they can shout it too and ask her something different. It would be better if there was a way to make it only work with specific peoples voices, but overall it is a good product.

Easy to set up and use in our house. Kids love to play their music on it.

I never knew I needed this, but after getting one, it's been great to automate some of my daily processes, like turn on the television and it can even take me straight to Thursday Night Football. I can see me adding many more devices to it in the future.

Look the new look . Quality sound is better than first generation echo. Easy set up.

I gotta say, I was skeptical about buying one of these, but since I already have hue lights and a few other smart home devices makes this thing a highly recommended purchase, control the lights in your home, or set it up to work with your fire tv for voice commands. I picked this up on sale with the new 4k fire stick so it was a no brainer. All in all it's a great product

Alexa made my days always, good sound, great value and easy to use.

I have several of these and have them linked together so I can play music throughout the house. But one of the best things is asking it questions for cooking purposes, such as, "how many grams in a cup of flour" or "how many carbs in 100grams of potatoes".

This is a great device. Very useful for listening to music and an alarm

I prefer the new ball shaped Echo Dot to this one, but I have found these useful for less used areas of the house. I recently put on in my bathroom to use as a speaker for music while showering and it works perfectly. The sound quality is good enough for how inexpensive these things are now.

Wasn't quite sure what this device was all about. Started using it and the device is pretty neat. Answers questions, plays music and all hands free. Also a little weird, like having an extra person in the room. I would give the sound quality an "8". It is good but no where the quality of my wireless speaker. But...being able to just say, "Alexa...play classic rock" and it happens......that's cool.

I love my echo dot. I have one in almost every room I my house. It pairs well with my devices and Alexa can do a lot of things in this tiny device. I love using it in the kitchen. I use it for setting timers, looking up questions and for recipes. I would recommend if you need a smart home device because the echo dot is perfect for my needs.

The 3rd Gen echo dot is a little more bulky with a lot better sound quality! The only con is that the microphone doesn't seem to hear as well as 2nd Gen and response time seems longer!
