The third generation echo dot has significantly improved sound quality compared to gen1. Really like the sandstone color. I have two gen3 devices

Having Alexa has made it easier for me to be able to multitask. Helps that I can gave a command without having to stop what I’m doing.

Works amazing. I find out new stuff it can do all the time. Was a great gift for my grandmother. The speaker is pretty decent.

Its pretty cool. We especially love it to play music and turn our lights on and off. I havent used it to its full potential yet. So far so good.

The best version of echo for bedrooms. The clock and alarm feature makes this an even better version of the Echo Dot.

it's what it is,,,, I use it for a "white noise" machine to help me sleep. Had the previous edition and the sound seems a little better. came as a bonus with a fire tv purchase.

This is my third one that I buy. When my son see it and hear how good it sounds that he ask for one and I have to buy it for him.

Very average sound quality. Also Alexa’s voice sounds kinda cheap. But it was free so I can’t complain. Would I purchase this item for money? No. Just not a necessity. Would honestly recommend a Google home over this. But great for being free!

Great sound for such a little speaker. Alexa can do so many things. We really have fun with it. We have 2 in the house and you can use them as an intercom.

Easy to set up and fun to use. A little hard to connect my smart lightbulb. I was able to figure it out in about 20 mins. Also, when I ask Alexa a question, it didn't give me an accurate answer. Google home able to give me a most accurate one.

I never had an Alexa item and wanted to treat myself. I listen to more music not and it’s super easy to use. I love the clock feature as well.

The newest Dot (gen 3) sounds so much better than the old versions. I hooked external speakers to the old ones, but this unit doesn't need it. Buying more!

Bought this echo for my grandmother. I figured she would use it once or twice. She uses it almost daily with questions or timers.

Love the echo dot. I used to have google home hub but had problems connecting it to my Philips hue so went with this and works great

Was great for grandma, to remind her of dates and to take meds. But just shy of a year it’s not working. Device won’t work now, says updating and it will notify when done. Tried logging into Alexa app and it’s showing inactive. Have another one hoping it will last longer.

Awesome tech! Easy to set up routines for my smart lights. Just got a fire tv...can't wait to see what I can do with them both.
