First one we've had. It can do so much. We learn something that it can do something new everyday. Planning on buy another one for another room.

Works great just like it should, have to have amazon account obviously but easy to set up and works well with 2 in the house.

Easy to install and configure. It’s loud enough and great mic. I can use it with two language and no trouble to pick it up.

The speaker must be plugged in at all times and connected to WiFi as well.

This is awesome to have it in your house you just speak and you can know the weather, play your songs etc this is a must have!!!!

Wow do I love my little Echo Dot! I use all of my "Alexa" products daily, including my Dot, for listening to podcasts on Pandora, for getting the news and weather, and for asking random questions like how far it is from one location to another. How did we ever live without these gizmos? Note that the speaker on this is just "okay" and improves as you go up the food chain of Echo products, but if you can find this at a good price, go for it!

I love this echo dot! I have it in my bedroom. Easy to play music, check for packages and ask for weather or make phone calls. Totally recommend

Just get one. We use it with smart plugs to control lights, serves as an alarm in the morning, and will sync with all other Alexa devices in the house.

I have purchased 3 of these and they work excellent. You can also program Alexa thru it to turn off any smart electronics.

I have the first generation Dot and I have to say that the sound and build quality of this iteration is much better. Looks and functions great.

It almost setup by itself now I have one in the office and the other is in the kitchen different calling name, works fine.

Echo really allows me to play music around the house and also, ask random questions. Kids love it.... and I like the alarm.
