I already have 2 Echo dots for my bedrooms and I wanted another one for my living room. It was on sale so I got it. It’s bigger than my first two.

For my 10 year old. She wanted an Alexa for her bedroom. The clock display and very cool and the sound is better than my first gen Echo Show.

I purchased this Dot for my son. He has connected everything to it and is really happy. Excellent quality and the speaker for music is actually quite good.

I bought the Echo Dot to use at work. It is helpful answering my questions and it is set up for my area (temperature, current weather, etc.).

I love the clock feature on this Echo dot. The sound quality is decent for a small room (like a bedroom). However, the new style Echo Dot (new design) with clock sounds better, so I'd recommend getting that now that they are available.

Very smart lady in this device :) She can answer most questions, make a reminder, shopping list, etc. She can be funny too

I bought this for my 74 year old Mom and she loves it. She doesn’t need the bells and whistles of the higher end show. It’s perfect for her!

it's one of those things you never knew you needed until you have it. If you plan to add a few smart home devices you will completely get your moneys worth.

Faster than grabbing cell phone to Google things. Nice to play music from and as a timer. Great for communicating throughout the house and leaving messages

This was a gift to me from my son. I love being able to listen to music and have Alexa set timers for me when I cook. Best gift of the year!

Device has all the features of the original and 2nd generation The added clock makes it great to be used as an alarm clock if needed

So easy to use it’s like having surround sound when you play music in all the rooms. Love being able to ask temperature and other questions.

Really good for a basic Echo and the Black Friday price was good.

What can I say that you don't already know, it's Alexa...she still has a lot to learn.

The speaker must be plugged in at all times and connected to WiFi as well.
