It’s really good for reminders if you forget things now and then, if you love music get this the sound is really good bass and everything is goood.!

I have a few of these throughout the house as they were free from BF deals. It is pretty cool to be able to utilize them for day to day things like play music, weather, ask questions, etc. I don't know if I would purchase these on my own as there always some deals out there to get them at either a discount or for free. Not a game changer but pretty cool device overall!

It's Alexa, so if your not worried about her listening to everything you say, the Dot is a very handy thing to have. The sound from Alexa is better than the sound from my radio. It's always in tune and I don't have to adjust anything.

I mostly use the echo dot for an alarm, to ask her the time and weather, and to play music. We also have a plug/outlet that’s controlled by it, which is nice. We use that to operate a light that’s in a corner behind the couch that’s hard to reach. “Alexa, turn on the corner light.” I know there are other functions I’m not using but I’m very happy with the ones I am. Good sound quality.

I really like my echo I just hate whenever your talking about Alexa to someone it activates her and she starts to listen but that is how all assistants are. You can change the awake word to computer or echo to eleviate this but I prefer to say Alexa. Main thing if your looking to purchase this for your smart home, be sure to know if your smart devices are compatible with Amazon Echo because some devices are only compatible with Google Nest and vice versa. If you have a Ring Video Doorbell or alarm system this is a must and most of the time it comes free with a Ring purchase.

Love the echo dot. Have bought several for family and friends. I for its size, it works quite well. Can put it anywhere and it is not unsightly. Works outside on the patio as well. The heat may affect it a little, but overalll well pleased with it. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I love our Echo Dot. We play music on it and use it as a speaker to talk between the bedrooms in our house. I like it much better than it's competitor.

If I would have known my 6 year old would be in my room telling Alexa to play Michael Jackson everyday I would have purchased her one when I got mine! Lol great product

I like Alexa it is very convenient to have around the house. For everything not just controlling television but anything in your house especially when you are feeling a little lazy.

I got this free with the purchase of a Blink XT camera - and I was ready to dismiss it since I have a house full of Echo Dot v2 devices. However, i set this bad boy up and was pleasantly surprised at the higher quality audio it puts out. The device is also about 15% larger than a v1 or v2 Dot, and it uses a different power dongle (a larger wall-wart, non-USB...similar to the type for the Spot).

This came free with the TV we purchased on Black Friday. I didn't feel the need to spend money on any of these smart accessories (Echo Dot, Google Home, etc.). It was always a nice-to-have not a need-to-have in my book. But when you get it for free, of course, you can't pass it up. Now that we have it hooked up to the new smart TV, it's definitely made life easy.

Everyone should have Alexa as a friend lol…if you don’t what are you waiting for go out and purchase her. She responds to every question and command. The only con is she don’t play a movie on command so I have to use the remote. She only looks up the movie you request successfully. She also gets confused and plays Amazon music when I ask her to play a movie but what can you expect she is a robot
