I have it in my kids room and they like it. I use it as their alarm for school. They sometimes get it to play music.

Amazon keeps out doing itself. The Echo Dot speakers sound amazing and of course with Alexa also a part of it only is a plus. I have purchased the previous models and so far this one is the best. I'm a huge music lover and the quality of the sound is very important for me. I'm certain going forward I'll purchase more Echo Speakers from Amazon. Keep up the great work.

Best Echo Dot! Has better sound and looks sleeker than the previous models!

The purchase of this Echo Dot was my first of smart devices at home. I’m using it in my bedroom for wake-up, background music at times, and quick information. So far it’s meeting all those requirements very well. It was super easy to setup on my home network. It’s nothing fancy, but works well.

Got this for free with my Fire tv purchase, would never personally spend money on tech like this but it is very convenient for people who are not tech savvy. Looking forward to see how Amazon continues to update and improve their devices. Set up with tv took 30 minutes after download.

If you’re tired of looking every question for your loved ones, distracting your focus you’ll find Alexa is sooooo great! If you speak slowly and clearly a great deal of your questions can be answered without lifting a finger. Great when your exhausted. If too soft say volume times two. Works every time!

This device works pretty well. It has some issues understanding every now and then but usually gets it right. Depending on your habits, this is a convenience or a novelty. We tend to be passing from one room to the other and call for this to turn on the light. We walk right past a light switch and wait for the light to come on. However, if you're a couch potato and can holler at this before you get off your butt, the light should be on by the time you get there. The color blends well with darker furniture.

Awesome speaker! Extremely easy to set up and use. LOADS of uses.

If you went back in time, 150 years ago, and tried to explain to some one that in the future with an hour's worth of pay you could buy a hockey puck that can tell you the weather, complete complex math problems, remind you when you need reminding, tell you jokes, and answer any question you can possibly think of in a pleasant female voice they might just reply, "whats a hockey puck"?

If you just need a small one it is very compact and able to be placed anywhere this is what you need. It great for small spaces. Has good sound.

This Echo Dot works great on my desk at the office at home, it sounds way better than the echo dot 2nd gen and takes little to none real estate space from my desk.
