You won't be so happy you voted for Joe Biden then. I heard he was an alien with a fake human face on and he's getting ready to let the lizard people invade. Not cool guys

Can't use without the Alexa app

No, Amazon requires you to download their app. Then you'll have horrible privacy issues with the app and with the device itself. Read the privacy agreement if you don't believe me. Then you get it working and the sound is not that good. On a scale of 1 to 10, the sound is a 4 to me. That being said, this would be good for $25 if you're invested in the Amazon system and don't care about privacy rights. The microphone is sensitive enough to hear you across the room without yelling. The voice recognition works fairly well. Not perfect but that's pretty understandable.

I am disappointed with Amazon for wanting you to buy more feature. I don't trust it gathering information and showing up in my feeds while I am surfing the internet. Spooky.
