Until you actually use an Alexa, it's hard to understand why you want to purchase one. This is a great product for having a radio or personal assistant in the kitchen. At less than $30, it's well worth the price.

This is by far the best version of the Echo Dot so far. It surprisingly has a really good sound quality.

I like the new amazon echo dot because it has more of a pleasant design that doesn't look out of place .

I had gen2 dot, this one is a little larger. It works great, using ad intercom feature with the old dot.

Better sound than the original echo. She gives good general knowledge. Functionality with Fire TV is good, but could improve. Who knows, maybe I'm the one that needs to learn to use it better.

It helps to have a hands free life, excellent when you have always your hands very busy or are in a hurry. It can be used as an intercom, As a secretary to make notes or lists, you can download contacts to place phone calls, listen to audio books, weather, news, music, and to do chores around the house with devices connected to Alexa, like guarding the house, turning on/off the lighting, opening garage doors, etc.
