||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's nice to have an answer available as soon as you have a question as it leaves you more time to do other things & we really like the fact we can pair our other devices to Echo, like our Ring doorbell, if we are away from our phone or it's off while charging Echo gives a verbal alert so we don't miss anything. We are having fun exploring all the things we can do with Echo.

Love Alexa as long as you don’t know anyone with a similar name. We refer to her as the person on the desk to avoid being questioned so much.

Great smart speaker

I also love to have basically every aspect of my home "smart" so this helps a ton with that aspect of living.

I have the Amazon power outlet, and it works every time with Alexa. In order to use it you have to download the Echo app on your phone, and sign in with your Amazon account. And in order to listen to music, you must have an account with Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, etc.

Since it was free, I honestly wasn't expecting much. However, once I set it up I was blown away! It works with my thermostat, my doorbell, my surveillance, and my front door lock... "Alexa, lock the front door". This is something I probably wouldn't have bought, but now I'm a believer!

Last minute gifted it to a family member. Was so curious of what I had just given away that I just had to buy another one.
