I was a little sceptical at first, but the Echo Dot is so simple to use and versatile I can't believe it. We also purchased the smart plugs. Now we don't have to stumble in the dark to find the lamps. We just ask Alexa to turn them on! Plus if we forget to turn them off we can do that from the ready to use app on our phones. Absolutley great product!

The family needed something to control the doorbells, and Amazon echo works perfect with our doorbells so we decided to take advantage of the great offer and deal. We previously have other devices around our house so this goes well.

I received the Echo Dot as a Christmas present and then gifted my Aunt and Uncle the Alexa Home and Echo Dot since their house is bigger and we both love it. I never thought I could have a "smart" home considering I have an older home but I definitely do now. I ask Alexa the weather every morning before work, make shopping lists and turn the lights on and off. It's too cool!

It’s a nice product but it seems like they are shipping these free with every electronic purchase I order. I have one Echo, one Alexa, and two Echo Show Devices. I have enough for every room in the house, but not enough bandwidth to keep them going with two phones, three iPads, two TVs all using wireless. When our son calls, we have to disengage wireless on our phone so that video will work on FaceTime.

VERY EASY TO SET UP AND USE. ALEXA CAN UNDERSTAND ABOUT 90% OF WHAT YOU SAY. HAS A GREAT LOOK. BOUGHT IT FOR THE SALE PRICE OF $25. GREAT ASSISTANT FOR THAT PRICE.

I always said smart speakers weren't something I needed in my life. Now that I have this Echo, I still think that, but I also understand why people like them. Alexa has so many different skills. I can even control my touchscreen Samsung oven with it, and as a blind person, that's just awesome. Also, I definitely think Alexa is a better assistant than Siri, and I'm pretty enmeshed in the Apple ecosystem.

My son and daughter in law bought me an Echo Dot for Christmas last year. I loved it so much I bought another for another room. Best Buy put them on sale and I bought 4 more for family this Christmas! Great price even when not on sale. Everyone is thrilled and we can even call each other on this device! Love it

it's nice to have an answer available as soon as you have a question as it leaves you more time to do other things & we really like the fact we can pair our other devices to Echo, like our Ring doorbell, if we are away from our phone or it's off while charging Echo gives a verbal alert so we don't miss anything. We are having fun exploring all the things we can do with Echo.

I got an Echo Dot free with the purchase of a Ring Video Doorbell Pro. Since it was free, I honestly wasn't expecting much. However, once I set it up I was blown away! It works with my thermostat, my doorbell, my surveillance, and my front door lock... "Alexa, lock the front door". This is something I probably wouldn't have bought, but now I'm a believer!
