Listening device doesn't listen

With a newborn, and often having no hands, it is very helpful to turn on or off lights, and play lullabies to help soothe him to sleep. We bought one to try it out, and loved it so much we bought 3 more. We also have a deaf son, who has speech problems. He can't say Google, or Alexa but he can say Echo and is exhilarated when Echo understands him (he is 9).

This unit controls all of automated outlet plugs and controls most of my daily routines, so it servers it’s purpose well.

Amazon Alexa with clock

Nice but I prefer the Google Home

To be honest I am more invested in the Google home ecosystem. I think that even with Amazons edge in the integration department that Google Home is easier to set up and responds better to questions.
