It does what an Alexa does just better than the previous ones. Microphone pickup is almost too good. Speaker is nice. We use these in the bathrooms and they hold up well with all the showering / humidity that happens as well. They usually have deals, I’d never spend full price on these.

Not my first one by any means and I have several of them around the house but they are just awesome. So many functions and it’s ability to link up with my smart home devices and give me voice control is perfect. Also can manage not just my regular Amazon account but my Amazon Seller Account via the Echo Dot and that is great!!

Great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only negative I’d read about the dot was the speaker couldn’t compare to the full echo (which is unsurprising considering the size difference). So maybe I was going in expecting the sound to be bad but I was very pleasantly surprised. Music sounds great on the echo and this speech recognition has been fantastic even when I’m around the corner in a different room.

Great little speaker, pumps out tge tunes

I bought this for my kids but I use it all the time, to play musuc, and ask alexa unlimited questions. You half to buy Amazon music subscription or just ask to play for instance KLove music channel. Its also a telephone, you can call your kids thru with the app.

I can set my app for play everywhere and all of the speakers play the same station through the house. I can do housework, or just move from room to room without missing anything. Bonus of having an alarm and timer in each room as well!

Great smart assistant + Bluetooth Speaker

If you are looking for good speaker then go for this or if, looking for smart speaker then go for google home mini.
