Turn on the lights!… or off. Order food. Play music. Learn a word. What’s the weather like tomorrow? I love my dot, and for the price, it can’t be beat! Do yourself the favor and get yourself one. It’s the convenience you’ve always needed and not known.

This is our third Echo...one full size and two Dots. Was very easy to set up. Sound is a lot better than our older Dot. It is good but not great. More mid and high end acoustics would knock it out of the park. A built in wall mount would be helpful. We bought an after-market wall mount. Overall, the Dot 3rd Gen is well worth the price.

Alex is easy to use and install. The third generation echo is very stylish. I have been comparing Google to Alexa and Google seems to be a bit brighter but Alexa seems to be easier to configure controls. It's a toss up between the two functionally for the most part. I own and echo Dot, Echo Spot Smart Display and an Echo Smart Speaker. They are a lot of fun!

Alexa does it all so it really helps keeps appointments, orders and other things in order for me.

Speakers sound better than v1 and it definitly looks better.

Prior to getting this Amazon Echo Dot, I already have two Amazon FireTV Cubes. When I got this new device, setup was very easy and it picked up the functions I had working on the FireTV Cubes. I got this Echo Dot free with the purchase of a Toshiba 4K FireTV. I installed it in my kitchen and now can access Alexa from almost anywhere in the house.

I did not have a need for an Echo Dot, however, I purchased one with a Ring Video Doorbell so that I could receive ring notifications when someone is at my door. I've found myself using the Echo Dot for other simple tasks too like setting reminders and alarms. Overall, it's become a useful addition to my living room

So happy with my new roommate Alexa! Love to hear my music and listen to the news! Voice control is amazing, can skip songs and make volume lower or higher among other things. It is beautiful and the size is perfect! Great addition to my space!

It is very good no problem just talk and command I love it I don’t use remote to my tv I use this speaker to talk to , I love it , I call it small but mighty

This 3rd generation dot is way better than the 2nd gen when it comes to sound. Installation is a breeze with the app. It only took a couple of minutes. I have a couple 2nd gen dots. They're good for day to day control of lights and asking questions, but play music is less than desired. This 3rd generation dot has excellent sound quality, and I highly recommend it.

Love this device! I bought this for my kids but I use it all the time, to play musuc, and ask alexa unlimited questions. You half to buy Amazon music subscription or just ask to play for instance KLove music channel. Its also a telephone, you can call your kids thru with the app.

You know what you’re getting if you’re looking at this product. This iteration provides a better aesthetic than previous versions. The sound quality seems to be improved as well (although that may just be the placebo effect kicking in).

Good product and easy to use. I have 2 other Dots that work 8 smart plugs, 2 thermostats and a smart light bulb and I really like them. works well.

Simple to set up. Recognizes commands right away. Fun product.
