    I bought this as a gift for Christmas during Black Friday. The gift recipient likes that the clock numbers are not too bright at night and you can see the time. I also have a google home mini and I think the sound volume is a little better on the google home mini but not by that much. This Amazon Echo Dot also has some features that I like that the google doesn't have.

    It works for what it's intended to and if you have the ring camera or part of the Amazon system with nest, firetv and other tech non google or Samsung this does the job. However I prefer the ai and ecosystem of Google and Samsung more.
