    Most digital alarm clocks don't offer what the Echo Dot with LED face offers at the same price point. It's everything that you like about the Echo Dot with a self dimming LED face to serve as an alarm clock. I set a routine for "goodnight" and the Dot dims the lights, says something inspiring, reads me the time, and plays am hour or "sleep" music. It's quite wonderful.

    This is my 3rd Echo Dot. This one replaced my old digital alarm clock. I love the features of being able to tap to snooze or just whisper "snooze for 5 minutes'. Now that I have 3 dot's I can also take advantage of the announcement feature and let the house know when its time for dinner. also like being able to stream music through out the house too.

    Its good for basic stuff. But if you want to play loud music from it I would suggest getting the bigger Alexa because the bass in this one is not that good.
