After purchasing an Echo from Best Buy this was a must to complete the coverage in our house. Combined with the Echo we have whole house coverage and are still learning how much can be done with the Echo and Dot. We've added smart bulbs, switches and outlets from Best Buy to create a semi-smart home.

Great for listening to Amazon Music. Set up was easy.

We already have a few of these around to help us with using alexia and any voice controlled functions around the house,their nice to use for a speaker for a bedroom or office and you can voice control lights,listen to music,get the weather,etc etc! If trying to make your home a smart home these do come in handy!

Sounds much better than the 2nd generation dot. Nice sleek look also.

I know this may sound weird but its a robot that does simple things It a bit visceral and intuitive on your part to fully understand it. barely any instructions- so enthuse to it! For example What time is it? What is the weather tomorrow? Or Now Set alarm for...? Play Snakesoup's new album Skip to to track 5 on snakeSoup new album Alexa Thank you, (responds stuff like your welcome, u bet u) Alexa who is Jennifer Lopez? (Alexa will respond with a quick bio) And just so so much more and Yes! the possibilities! Like Snakesoup's front man once famously said and I quote, " its a ever moving and turning world, are you going to just sit there?! you don't have to be so alone -Alexa Echo Dot It is a but another sign of really cool things to come in the future (wink!)

Love it , it is the to go assistant. From weather to shopping list does everything. Its getting smarter. Privacy is a concern however in this day all the information is everywhere anyways , so I don't worry about it much. This generation has much better sound , faster , bass is much better and music sounds very good. Recommended.

I bought this almost a year ago now, and have found countless uses for it. I think it would be even more useful if I had more devices to control with it, but a powerful speaker acts nicely for a small jam session. The assistant also acts as a conventional clock, weather assistant, timer, and is excellent for playing fun games.

Love my Alexa and the ease of use. I tell her to add something to my shopping list and it's done. No more lists left at home and trying to remember what was on the list while in the store. I tell her to add something to my calendar and it's there. Love my lightbulb that I received free with my purchase.

Love our Alexa devices. We have them in every room now thanks to this add-on from Best Buy. We have both editions of the Show as well as the Spot and the towers. Now the dot has joined out family. Of course it’s just a little guy but perfect for the guest room.

I love my echo dot alarms plays music and also daily reminders

It's an echo dot. Decent quality speaker. Have had issues with all of my echo dots lagging or being unresponsive over the last six months. Takes them forever to do something I ask. Also they don't do so well with some skills. They work great with Ring systems but if you have Vivint, not so much.

Powerful sound. Didn’t take up a lot of room. Cute also.

I love this unit. You can talk to it and ask it to do anything like set a timer for 5 minutes or turn on dog light or turn on plant light, or turn on front porch light and also tell it to turn off all of these items. We have 3 of these units through out the house and each of them works just as easily as the next.
