I bought this almost a year ago now, and have found countless uses for it. I think it would be even more useful if I had more devices to control with it, but a powerful speaker acts nicely for a small jam session. The assistant also acts as a conventional clock, weather assistant, timer, and is excellent for playing fun games.

Ever since I got my first Alexa for the house, I just wanted to fill the house with them! It's such an amazing assistant from playing music to teaching you facts! I would 100 percent recommend!

I know this may sound weird but its a robot that does simple things It a bit visceral and intuitive on your part to fully understand it. barely any instructions- so enthuse to it! For example What time is it? What is the weather tomorrow? Or Now Set alarm for...? Play Snakesoup's new album Skip to to track 5 on snakeSoup new album Alexa Thank you, (responds stuff like your welcome, u bet u) Alexa who is Jennifer Lopez? (Alexa will respond with a quick bio) And just so so much more and Yes! the possibilities! Like Snakesoup's front man once famously said and I quote, " its a ever moving and turning world, are you going to just sit there?! you don't have to be so alone -Alexa Echo Dot It is a but another sign of really cool things to come in the future (wink!)

Alexa speaker worked great. I own about four of these and I’ve never had a problem they all worked perfectly and this one was no exception.

I received this for free with an Fire tv I purchased. I was so excited because I have been wanting to try an Echo. I am happy with it. It's fun and helps with things like grocery list and quickly looking up information or just playing music when you're doing things around the house.

I was using a Echo Dot (2nd Gen) before using this. This is a little bulkier and does not just look beefier, does have a more power speaker. However I do feel that I Echo Dot's reception was somehow was better. For example, I was used to call out command / question from another room to the old Echo dot (2nd Gen) and it will almost always respond. This Echo dot (3rd gen), it a hit or miss. I am using both, and overall likes this a little better than the 2nd gen. Though I would not have paid to upgrade from 2nd gen to 3rd gen.

Great sound comes out of this little dot. Very easy to set up!

A fun addition to our house as it came with a TV purchase. The 3 YO loves that she can operate it, and I enjoy being able to use it for a variety of things while I'm cooking as we keep it in the kitchen. Nice addition to the home.

I now have 5 of these around the house. Slowly converting light switches to be controlled. Alexa can control my robot vacuum, play my spotify music, remind me of appointments, keep my shopping list, turn on the Christmas lights and tell me the weather conditions from my weather station. I'm in nerd heaven!

I received my Echo Dot 3 as a gift when I purchased my 2nd Ring Doorbell 2. I have enjoyed it, especially when I get up in the mornings and want to know the current temperature in Franklin, TN. I also enjoy having it play my selected music. I am planning on purchasing some connectors to use for turning on some of the lights in my house.

I have come to like the Echo models with screens better. They are more pricey, but they also do more. Some of them also have larger speakers, so the sound quality is better. I have had this model and also the basic Google model. I came to like this better. I do a good bit of smart home control with these and I like the response and also the quality of the voice. For an entry-level device, this does a decent job. I have given some of these to friends as gifts and they and their children have enjoyed them.

Has great sound and the commands are very easy to be set

Purchased this device for my room and I love the quick and accurate responses I get and that it helps me control my other IOT devices. It has a great sound for audio music playback. I highly recommend it.
