Feels great to tell alexa to open this or that app instead of pressing all these buttons to get what i want, on my fire tv. It’s definitely loud for its size when it comes to music.

A gift

However, the sound is only pretty decent but that is obliviously due to its size. I still think between this and the homepod mini the mini takes the cake.

Great addtion to the Alexa collection

I put it in my office, since I didn't have an Alexa set up in there. Works great and connected right away.

Connected easily to my Bose speaker

Now, for under $30, I have Alexa and a great sounding speaker. I used a cable instead of bluetooth for the connection because my Bose does not have bluetooth. No issues as of now. p.s. The Dot on its own is a so-so speaker for playing music. Not even close to the Ecco.

Can't live without it!

And it even gives you home security with notifications for glass breakage and alarm sounds (smoke, home, etc.) It can control home functions like thermostat (if wifi), and a ton of other devices (some might have to buy a module for to work), but all worth it.
