GREAT BUY!

I've owned the Original echo dot since it first came it out and this one is so much better! The clock lighting dims lower and higher with the surrounding light so when all the lights are off it dims lower so its not too bright and I can sleep. I love it!

The audio quality is great too. The only thing I feel, its 2021, we should have come along far with the AI. It should recognize voices and people of the house. And for the love of humanity, it should stop trying to push the music subscription for every song you ask for, it will play its a couple of times and then say only available with Amazon music - hate that.

It's Alexa .. BUT wont tell the time outloud

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's an alexa speaker .. it sounds good .. oddly Amazon thinks that if you are using the built in clock display that you will never want to HEAR the time .. ask Alexa the time on this model and you start to hear her speak and she stops EVERY TIME .. you have to say "turn off clock" before the device will speak the time .. that's my beef with this guy .. TELL ME THE TIME when I ask for it .. I'm not in the same room sometimes so I cant always SEE the device .. otherwise .. dope!

I love this little Dot and it displays the time...

It seems to be more responsive than my other 2 as well. Of course all the Echo Dots are wonderful but I didn't really realize how nice it is with the time displayed.
