The new dot has much better sound quality. Also I love linking the dots throughout the house and streaming music through multiple rooms.

I love my Echo Dot. I don't use voice activated tech often. However, after I set up my Echo Dot and used it, it has been a game changer. I've got the latest weather, asked for recipes and other reminders.

Nice little toy. Having Alexa around all the time can be a help.

this is the 4th one I've purchased and works well with smart bulbs (turn lights on and off with voice commands) as well as acts as a blue tooth speaker to play music from your phone, or just use the many skills (apps) to play games, learn facts, check the news or weather, create shopping lists and more.

Enjoy using this but cannot put them too close together in the house or they pick up on each other. Fun to use and sound is very good.

You can do so much with the Echo Dot: - Connect it to smart light bulbs - Connect to your Roku streaming stick - Connect to Roomba vacuum - Connect to Apple Music Quality of build is very nice. Simple and elegant. Great if you buy a lot on Amazon; Alexa will notify you of order progress and updates!

I love that it has color options. I love that it can link to basically everything. (Tv, smart plug, phone, Apple Music, pandora, Amazon account, etc.) Super easy to use and set up. Love that it has a mute button. The setting alarm feature is great for getting the kids up in the morning.

Nice sound from such a small unit. Would be five-stars, but the voice recognition can be a bit balky at times.

It was free..and it's a great little speaker. Nice buit with alexa. Just wished it was a big er speaker.. but good sound..

Convenient world be better if it worked properly all the time. It's ok depending on what you use it as.

Works good Only thing is the quality of the sound is very flat. Alexa Sounds like an old TV from 1980. Would prefer something with a better sound Quality.

haven't tried yet came with my ring door bell I'm not sure I want a listening device in my house I will try this weekend possibly and follow up.

Speaker on 6/10 lasted almost 3 weeks before getting fuzzy. I would recommend getting separate speakers, but overall the echo Dot was worth it for the price.

I got a free echo dot with my ring doorbell purchase. I brought it home and set it up in my bedroom. Worked great for 2 days then went off line. I have reset it dozens of times and it will not go back online. Internet is not the issue as I have other devices, 1 being a different amazon echo product.
