    I wanted to love this, but this device just isn’t for me. I don’t think there will ever be any Amazon or Google voice assistants in my household anytime soon!

    We have owned the full size Echo for several years. The Echo Dot has all the same features, but not the sound quality if playing music. It is an excellent way to add a "satellite" to Alexa in other locations around the house. I am considering getting a second Echo Dot to add to the basement area.

    I bought this for my husband, he wanted something that wasn’t real bright and we already had a dot on the nightstand so replacing it with this one that has the alarm clock on it was perfect. Also the numbers aren’t bright and the light level is adjustable. He loves it and it has worked out great!!

    The 3rd generation sound quality is much better than the older versions of the dot. I still prefer googles voice AI than Alexa though.
