definite sound improvement over previous versions.

I love that it has color options. I love that it can link to basically everything. (Tv, smart plug, phone, Apple Music, pandora, Amazon account, etc.) Super easy to use and set up. Love that it has a mute button. The setting alarm feature is great for getting the kids up in the morning.

Works good Only thing is the quality of the sound is very flat. Alexa Sounds like an old TV from 1980. Would prefer something with a better sound Quality.

I LOVE it! It It gives me accurate and up to date weather information, great music choices, and even acts as my timer and reminder. All I have to do is ask her by name what I want her to do!! Alexa even has a sense of humor! It was recommended to me by a friend and I have recommended it to all the rest of my friends.

Love this little Echo because there are so many different ways to use it from any kind of a reminder to shopping lists to you don't ever forget anything. I also use it for music. Perfect.

This was a good buy for small spaces. I purchased 10 of them for Christmas stocking gifts. The sound is much better than before.

Were have a couple of these throughout the house. My kids are always playing music, asking questions, and playing games with it.

It is a little dumb. You can have it play music or communicate with another unit in a room wherever you may want to talk to someone else.

This is fun to have for music throughout the home. loud enough to be heard throughout the house. Good buy.

I'm glad I received this for free. I wish the speaker volume was louder. Also, the skills aren't really that helpful on this model. I'd recommend this to someone with Amazon Music.

I had also purchased the Google assistant system and found the echo to be a bit more user friendly so I purchased 4 of them. Great item!

It was free..and it's a great little speaker. Nice buit with alexa. Just wished it was a big er speaker.. but good sound..

I got a free echo dot with my ring doorbell purchase. I brought it home and set it up in my bedroom. Worked great for 2 days then went off line. I have reset it dozens of times and it will not go back online. Internet is not the issue as I have other devices, 1 being a different amazon echo product.

this is the 4th one I've purchased and works well with smart bulbs (turn lights on and off with voice commands) as well as acts as a blue tooth speaker to play music from your phone, or just use the many skills (apps) to play games, learn facts, check the news or weather, create shopping lists and more.

Simple and elegant. Great if you buy a lot on Amazon; Alexa will notify you of order progress and updates!

We bought 2 for different parts of the house. The update has much better audio quality, and makes a great intercom system. We use all of our Alexa products on a daily basis for quick information, solve trivia questions, timers, announce dinner and even change channels on the tv. Good buy (or should I say "Best Buy")

great for a desk or bathroom. I find it is not very loud. But alexa is spot on. It also does not work as a bluetooth speaker.

I use this as an alarm clock and to power some of my electronics. My daughter likes for it to tell her jokes.

This one is a little better than the 1St Generation models. Contains a little better speaker and seems to pick up voice a little better.

I bought this for my bff who recently just discovered Alexa and she loves it. She says the sound is perfect for her small apartment.
