This is worth the extra $. The speaker is 10x better, and the look is cleaner. Just as easy to set up, and so far have no complaints.

This is fun to have for music throughout the home. loud enough to be heard throughout the house. Good buy.

Perhaps if I made my home a smart home this would be more useful. It is amusing and helpful at times.

The Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Edition was free with my TV purchase. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it yet as I already had an Echo so unable to rate based on use.

Mine stopped working quickly. And I wouldn’t recommend having one in your bathroom which is where I preferred so that I can enjoy music or make an announcement to the kids during my mommy time baths. I guess the moisture got to it

I use this as an alarm clock and to power some of my electronics. My daughter likes for it to tell her jokes.

The readout will display temp when asking about weather. If you set a timer you can see it count down on the display. I've also noticed slight changes in responses and it keeps up with what you have listened to and not in the flash briefing instead of repeating the entire thing.

I’m able to talk to it to turn it on, change the station, turn it down and even pause to take a phone call. It’s great!

Can’t be more happier with this purchase. Got it for 20$ at Thanksgiving and it came with a 10$ smart bulb free. I have Alexa devices in every room and I keep it on my work desk and listen to radio and music . It’s an awesome device with Alexa integrated. Very useful.

The amazon echo dot 3rd gen is a great device to any home. Also in my house is a google mini, but I routinely call out for Alexa more. The Alexa app is more user friendly in my opinion but google assistant is more data answer smart. With Apple Music now available, the echo makes it an all around smart device.

We primarily use this for music and alarm clock functions. Nice size for a night stand. Display numbers easy to read.

Alexa, can you??? It is awesome for music, asking the weather, quickly checking a cooking question, have hooked to our smart plus and controlling the Christmas lights was great! The 5 year old even likes asking knock knock jokes and dino jokes! Who doesn't have one?

Slowly putting these in every room. Connect to WeMo switches and plugs and the house is automated. Alexa is a key part of the home.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas and he seems to use it quite a bit with music, setting timers, checking the weather, etc.

I've purchased multiple of these. For the price, these are the best home assistant devices in my opinion.

Its all of the Dot but with the clock...no pun intended...if having the time displayed is a nice feature for you, then pay the extra $10.00 for it...to me it's an advantage to see the time on it without having to ask...this Dot with clock would be better by the bedside than the Dot without.

Works ok sometimes. Alexa doesn’t know how to do a lot. Like turn down the volume or turn off the music

Set up was easy. Paired with Pandora, listening was great. Love that don’t have get up in order to change songs!
