its okay. works with a lot of other devices that are smart capable. Could have better sound quality.

I received this as a free gift with the purchase of a smart tv. I absolutely love the convenience of being able to have music play just by speaking it, or making a shopping list without having to write it down. This dot has made things so much more convenient and I love it.

Sound quality could be better but good for the size. The best part is how far away Alexa can hear you.

This is worth the extra $. The speaker is 10x better, and the look is cleaner. Just as easy to set up, and so far have no complaints.

We primarily use this for music and alarm clock functions. Nice size for a night stand. Display numbers easy to read.

Alexa can handle simple commands. “Alexa play a song, Alexa turn up the volume, Alexa what’s the weather “.In spite of me downloading apps to use with Alexa unfortunately she doesn’t recognize many commands “Alexa wake up my kids”. The very 1st time I asked, Alexa did wake up my kids to the music I programmed her to. Every time there after she said she didn’t recognize my command.

Probably more so Alexa than TE dot but it tends to not listen very well. Speaker is good on this.

It works well but the sound is not of very good quality.

This replaces an alarm clock and is much more functional for us. The time display automatically adjusts to the light in the room. It allowed us to move a dot we had in that room to another location in our home. Expanding our ability to use Alexa in another space in our home!

Its all of the Dot but with the clock...no pun intended...if having the time displayed is a nice feature for you, then pay the extra $10.00 for it...to me it's an advantage to see the time on it without having to ask...this Dot with clock would be better by the bedside than the Dot without.

Excellent. I use this in my office which is very helpful making my day much easier.... I love Alexa.....

If you want a "smart" speaker you really can't go wrong. Imo they kind of freak me out tho
