Good smart speaker. Sound is inadequate. Best hooked up to a Bluetooth speaker. Wish echo dot could connect to 2 Bluetooth speakers simultaneously to create a stereo sound.

I purchased one for my daughter's birthday beginning of December and we loved it so much that I purchased three more for Christmas gifts. Best Buy had a fantastic sale price (2 for the price of $ 50.00) and gave one as a Secret Santa gift to a 15 year old and they through it was the most awesome gift ever.

Although the sound quality is great, it frequently loses connection to the internet. It has not been enjoyable for this reason.

I have a couple of echo dots but this exact one has been giving me problems it won't sync to the giftees wifi anymore

A little difficult to master the commands to begin with. Knowing how to phrase the question is the key. Excellent assistant after that.

This one is a convenient size, but just spend a few bucks more to get the spherical fourth gen one.

We started with the Echo Show in our kitchen and loved it so much that we added 4 of these dots all around the house. It's great how they're all synced and work in unison and can control everything. We'll probably add a couple more with the clock once that item comes back into stock.

Sounds okay and we move it from location to another place with ease of use. Works great with our lights as welll

Does connect through wifi and can use Alexia voice commands, which is the best use. Do not expect good sounding music outside of a very small room.

Plays music I like that feature And if you need a joke even she has one ready She can answer about most anything asked

not stable connect to my wifi, sometimes work with my Nest sometimes don't and it doesn't work with my 2018 Samsung smart tv and doesn't work with my 2018 Onkyo amplifier.

Awesome little buggers, they just keep getting better and better every generation.. Just wish more device's would adapt to them.

The dot is pretty neat but also somewhat complicated if you start pairing more than one dot and or devices. Everything has to be set perfect so there are definitely some growing pains but once it is all set then it’s pretty handy. If you have a smart plug hooked up to a floor plan and your internet goes out then so will your fan (in the middle of the night). Easy to unplug the smart plug and plug the fan directly into the wall outlet but nonetheless inconvenient. Overall it’s a neat addition to your home.

Works great as any Alexa. I just wish you could use it as just a bluetooth speaker, bit it will not allow that.

With this size you would expect the clock should be in any model. Perform as expected. Great value for the money

Its a fun and helpful gadget. It’s cool asking Alexa random questions. You can teach her different skills and she can even rap!

I am a casual user when it comes to these assistants. I use it mainly to get weather and traffic updates before I leave for work. It took awhile to get Alexa all the skill sets needed. But, once we found a few skill sets, Alexa became an entertainment until as well. We use her for all kinds of trivial and music games. She also provides sport updates and can play music. All and all, it was a good purchase. (There are a ton of skill sets for Alexa to acquire. The choices can me overwhelming.)

I have now purchased many of these in different colors. In addition to being smart devices, you can play the same (or different music) on them simultaneously. They also provide an intercom feature which is helpful in larger multi-story homes.

The command variations is out of this world. I can asked it anything. Its the greatest. I can control anything in my house. Its very convenient. I ask it the time. I ask it the date and day. To play my music, relaxation sounds. My daily studies in the Bible.
