I don’t use this. I believe that this thing listens and logs all of your conversations and if you value privacy at all don’t install this.

This is nice looking but doesn’t put out that much sound, would like it to be louder. If you have a big bedroom wouldn’t suggest it but in the bathroom it’s ok.

Alexa is ok. Having a hard time getting her to connect to our Hue lights. She only does what we say half the time. Using Siri on our phones seems to work a lot better.

Bought this one for my daughter and another about 2 weeks later for my parents after I upgraded my gen 2 dot. Very nice!

I have now purchased many of these in different colors. In addition to being smart devices, you can play the same (or different music) on them simultaneously. They also provide an intercom feature which is helpful in larger multi-story homes.

I installed this in my elderly parents room so they can just easily drop in or announce if they need anything, and vice verse. They’ve just learned to ask Alexa for the time, the weather, the news, and they were very pleased with how easy it is to use this.

Simple instructions and easy to operate. The light is on at night all the time so not sure it’s malfunctioned or not.

Works great as any Alexa. I just wish you could use it as just a bluetooth speaker, bit it will not allow that.

It works well but the sound is not of very good quality.

I don’t know, Alexa spooks my wife, Just the thought of using it, I’m sure it works great

Enjoying the Echo dot smart speaker. Bought a few more for a second home an one for the office. It's great for streaming Sirius XM radio stations and the moring news. The Echo even has some great meditation sound tracks you can request for relaxation.

The light can be too dim at times and it disconnects from the internet sometimes. Otherwise does the job.

I have a 2nd generation that I had no problems with. Ever since I got the 3rd generation it’s been nothing but problems. Since I put this in my home all of my devices will not connect to the internet with the exception of the 3rd generation DOT. I also noticed that the DOT was listening even when the “wake” word wasn’t being used I don’t trust it and for now neither the 2nd or 3rd generation are heing used in my home....not sure that I will use them again. I more than likely will return them both

Love the clock, sound quality is good, just a little dismayed that it only comes in the sandstone color

Newer model has better sound, Alexa works the same since it runs through the internet and to the Alexa service.

Fairly good…. ! Quite enjoyable overall - in the kitchen. Listen to music and set up alarms. Like the name Alexa.

I love the echo dot 3rd generation smart speaker, it works fantastic in conjunction with my other echo products

Great sound quality for the size of the product. Could have a little higher sound.

I have been using the Amazon Echo ecosystem for my smart home automation since the 1st Generation Echo. Since then, this is my third Echo Dot that I have added to my lighting automation system. I love the capability that an Echo Dot in each room brings to the Home Automation.
