Love this item. So convenient when I’m wanting to turn music on. I don’t have to mess around with choosing a station etc. I can also tell it to raise or lower the volume. I use it to turn on lamps and lights in the house. Great little tool and toy.

This Echo Dot is great for the nightstand with the lighted clock. Setting alarms and listening to the news.

My grandson loves it. I enjoy Telling Alexa what music I want to hear and she just pick something and I like it

I was hesitant about buying another AI device for my home. I have been using Cortana and it just did not function well unless you were asking it to tell you what the weather was. The Amazon dot is a whole new experience. It has tons of skills and it's a lot of fun to have around.

They are great for the price, would recommend they can be linked together or used separate as like an intercom system

Grabbed this at a good price mostly to use for my smart plugs. Setup was easy out of the box.

I bought this 3rd gen dot to replace an older 3rd gen dot that became slow and hard of hearing over time. I put one of those mounting plates in the ceiling, so had to replace with 3rd gen to fit. Much faster and better hearing so far. I mainly use it to control "smart" appliances, I use better sounding system for music.

We have a very large home. We use EchoShow 5 in bedrooms, but have dispersed ‘Dots’ throughout the house. Along with ‘SmartPlugs’, we have created a largely automated environment on a shoestring budget. Thanks to Amazon and BestBuy for such bargains.

Overall happy with this purchase. Decent sound. Have it paired with the lights in my office.

Added to my alexa setup. Works as expected. Have it attached to my receiver via aux so it can play through multi-room

I love the display that shows the time and Alexa is a firmly embedded in my house. I am a paraplegic and I use Alexa for automating many thing in my house from the thermostat lighting and my appliances. Makes me feel comfortable to be alone in my home.

I basically purchased this to play music thru. After 3 months of use the speakers are blown. Its not an expensive item but shouldn't be purchased for music.

I have not yet been able to figure out how to set it up with my windows laptop and the instructions with which it comes are sparse.

I have four placed all over the house in sync and makes listening to music all over the house a great experience.
