The best improvement for gen 3 echo is sound quality. Quality equal to echo show. Great for music reproduction.

ok product with not much use in the household for me. It seems to speak at random sometimes but can be fun to ask silly questions.

While talking to Alex it can recognize your voice and change voice through a different slangs.

Bought the white echo dot to blend in with the surroundings. Enjoy listening to music or radio just by asking Alexa.

Love this item. So convenient when I’m wanting to turn music on. I don’t have to mess around with choosing a station etc. I can also tell it to raise or lower the volume. I use it to turn on lamps and lights in the house. Great little tool and toy.

Grabbed this at a good price mostly to use for my smart plugs. Setup was easy out of the box.

I purchased this item for all the main rooms in my house and we love it. When we need to talk to one another and we are in different rooms we can just drop into the room of the person we need to talk to and that’s it. Also love managing my lights and other electrics through Alexa.

Apart from speaking with Alexa, I found it to be the best and cheap wireless speakers for TV / Laptop

Love this little guy. We have it hanging from a holder that allows us to have it plugged in on the wall in the bathroom, awesome for music and podcasts. I love the color, it matches everything and looks so sleek.

It works great and looks really sleek. I bought two when they recently had a $10 off sale. We use it to turn the lights on and off. My kids think it's fun to ask Alexa questions, tell jokes and sing Happy Birthday. They use it more than me.

We have a very large home. We use EchoShow 5 in bedrooms, but have dispersed ‘Dots’ throughout the house. Along with ‘SmartPlugs’, we have created a largely automated environment on a shoestring budget. Thanks to Amazon and BestBuy for such bargains.

Overall happy with this purchase. Decent sound. Have it paired with the lights in my office.

Cool product because we have amazon music so we can tell Alexa to play music from our amazon music account.

I have not yet been able to figure out how to set it up with my windows laptop and the instructions with which it comes are sparse.

This is a great little speaker - however, it warbles at higher volumes.

I love the display that shows the time and Alexa is a firmly embedded in my house. I am a paraplegic and I use Alexa for automating many thing in my house from the thermostat lighting and my appliances. Makes me feel comfortable to be alone in my home.

There is a reason why they give these away with other purchases. Very basic and I suppose it works. Save your money and buy something with a display

This Echo Dot is great for the nightstand with the lighted clock. Setting alarms and listening to the news.

Not a big fan of these types of gadgets. I am a retired computer professional, so not an old horse out of tune with new technology. I have a lot of technology, old and new, that I get a lot of benefit from, but I find this generally less than useful. Basically a very expensive dust collector. If you are into music and have to have it going all of the time, it might be helpful, but not my bag.
