The best alarm clock ever. Also great for streaming music. Just the basics make it amazing. No more reaching for the snooze button or struggling to set your clock Alexa may not know everything but Alexa knows a lot!

I like the echo dot the only thing I really hate about it is that, it has to be plugged into the wall. But Alexa is nice.

She is really the V.A lf the family. She keeps my toddler entertained, I do my workouts with her and she controls my TV for me. She is pure awsome sauce. I am also excited about the Alexa guard feature that has rolled out as well. Pure peace of mind.

This is a big improvement in sound from the original Dot. Worth the upgrade or first Alexa. Get it.

Sometimes it does not understand command. It replies and continues to work.

I use this one in the bedroom, it also turns on bedroom light and wakes me to music. At night I love to be able to see the time during the night when I roll over and wonder what time it is. The blue light does not disturb my sleep.

Nice unit, good sound, not crazy about the white/sandstone color but it works as advertised.

Very good service explained everything that we weren't sure of. Showed how everything work. Explained why it broke down. Explained about the new replaced part that it should work better then the old part.

I don't get the point of this thing. Maybe that's why it was free. Useless.

Does not have an option to connect to a WPA2 wireless network. Anyone with a Bluetooth connection can also hook to them without your knowledge. I had a neighbor who kept connecting their phone to my first/second gen Dot via the bluetooth and this 3nd gen appears to have the same issue. I did not have that issue with the regular size Echo. Stick with the regular Echos if you want an Echo. Their security is much better.

We use this all the time and even find ourselves calling out to Alexa when we're not at home out of habit. That being said, she will randomly come on and say she didn't catch that when we weren't talking either at all or to her. She won't pull up certain things like music if it is in a different language, info on certain topics, etc. Nevertheless, we still use it. Decide which is more important to you. Helpfulness or Creepyness

Not a fan of things listening in on all my conversations, so gave it to parents. They aren’t fans either

My entire family loves this Echo Dot Smart Speaker with Alexa. It is so easy to use and even our 1 year old grandson immediately insists it be playing music when he visits. It is an excellent gift for any occasion

The Echo Dot is easy to setup and sounds surprisingly good for such a small speaker.

This 3rd generation echo dot works very well. I like having the digital time display as it allowed me to add Alexa functionality with a time display To replace a clock radio on my workbench. Very happy with purchase.
