With a newborn we were able to know what time it was always and it also works as a dim night light which is awesome. I've had the previous dot's and this one is great.

We bought the plug at the same time and use the dot to turn on and off our family room lamp and TV. One small issue is sometimes it doesn’t pick up my voice.
