We love Amazon products (we have 5 in our house) we bought this one for my grandfather who lives alone. It is great he can ask her to make phone calls, and ask her any trivia questions he wants.

Put it in the bathroom so it’s visible from the shower...No more being late...can also ask for weather or estimated time of arrival to a location or play music, while getting ready. ...Just wish they had it in black too!

Good quality sound, especially enjoy the clock feature for morning wake up.

Great deal for the discounted price I paid on Best Buy. Use it in my computer room. With bluetooth I can use it as an external speaker with my laptop, as well as use it with my SiriusXM subscription.

With apple stalling regarding offering 'Siri' functionality we have tried Alexa - we are hooked - 3 Dot's and a Show in the Kitchen - We can control lights and ask Alexa anything we want - Music streaming throughout the house, Very happy!

Like the big echo but smaller, worse speaker, Alexa does things. It's okay and works where you don't need the full size

Love my dot! I Was working in my office when my cable company company went down. Our cable company went down and I had no access to a search engine on my computer. I used the dot to finishing inquiring about what I was searching for.

Entire house, bathrooms, shower, garage (2 for stereo), every room. Controls our lights, sprinklers, air conditioning, plugs, separate fan, ceiling lights, TV. I send them out as wedding and graduation gifts.

The Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen really stepped up its game from the 2nd gen

Does not respond accurately. Does not detect/ link with ring devices

worked for a month and then just stopped responding despite restoring it to factory settings.

This echo works well enough, the drawback is that it respond to queries when not prompted. This makes it too invasive.

If she had a body, she’d be my best friend. No more google search, no more Bluetooth on my phone when I’m home. I can finally put my phone away, and let me best friend carry me thru a great night. Thanks Alexa!
