I had the original one and I wanted to upgrade and I am so happy that I did! The speaker on this little echo dot is amazing and now I don’t need to connect it to a Bluetooth speaker for better sound. And I love the rubber bottom bc it stays in place on my granite countertops!

I listen to Gospel or RNB music when I'm going to bed. I also listen to meditation or rain fall or ocean sounds if I'm having problems going to sleep. I can have Alexa place a call for me or text as long as the other person has the echo dot. You can ask directions, jokes, or any questions

Better than i was expecting

I originally got it for a smart speaker just to stream music but quickly started realizing more potential. I was impressed at how fast Alexa finds answers to your questions and how easy it is to use. I am sure I will like it even more over time as I continue to use it more.

My Smart Home Is Run With Several Ech Dots

I love using them to stream music and radio stations to every room in my home. The sound quality on the new Generation 3 version is a great improvement over the 2 previous versions. In addition setting up two as a stereo setup is great for listening to my favorite music.

Versatile device--multipurpose

Just what he wanted for his birthday last month. No problems with the device so far and he uses it all the time for both his school work and for entertainment. He said it has great sound as well.

This can also play music, but for extended listening a bigger device such as the full-sized Amazon Echo will sound better.
