I wanted an Echo Dot, mainly to serve as an intercom station to communicate with two of the bigger units elsewhere in our house. Does that job well although the sound quality is not equal to the larger units, of course. If I had it to do over, I might have bought the Dot with the clock display, but that’s on me.

Bought this for my 6 yr. old daughter's bedroom. She loves it. She likes to play any song that she wants or even ask alexa the weather. It is easy for her to use anytime of day.

I became hooked on Alexa with the first Echo, I have upgraded to gen3! I use for my reminders, grocery list & package delivery. I have become so spoiled!

Firdt time having this item. So convenient. For some odd reason i think my wife is jealous of Alexa!!

My son bought this and it is working fine. He seems to be enjoying it.

Still learning the many features and applications, but so far I like Alexa. I plan to get more smart bulbs and a smart thermostat. Works well as a Bluetooth speaker for music as well.

We previously owned a Google Assistant. We tend to use Alexa for most things now, as we prefer her “personality” over Google’s. There are things that she can do, that google can’t and vice versae.

I would give this product a 3.8 out of 5. I do like that the echo dot is stealth and the color blends in well with the surroundings. I love the fact it gives me an update of the status of my order. It doesn't always pick up the command well, as I would have to repeat myself. Overall, it was a great price and is a nice addition to my electronic stash.

I bought one for myself and liked it so much during the xmas season I bought one for most of my kids and they love it too! One daughter says she likes the white noise for putting my grandson down for naps

Enjoy this very much. Start the day asking the temperature and weather and turn on lights when I get home from work, to music to end the day. Catch them on sale for $25 and it’s a great bargain.

Having so much fun with Alexa. She can do just about anything. Great with Checking o your Amazon orders! Also, Alexa will remind you of just about anything so you do not forget. Great Purchase!

Can’t get enough of Alexa. I have one in every room. They are used as speakers for music to play in the background and also to communicate between rooms with others

Bought the Echo Dot on a whim, hoping to find some interesting uses. I DID! Or at least I thought I did... I used my Dot to listen to my Sirius XM radio subscription. It worked so well I bought 2 more. Everything was great until... Worked great on a Saturday, the following Tuesday nothing, nada, zip... "Sorry, I'm having trouble playing the music" is all she will say. This is a known issue by Amazon for some time, as it is with other music sources, even Amazon music. And yet, no solution. Although they claim it has been addressed. A lot of tickedd off people, just Google "I'm having trouble playing the music" and see what pops up. I stress STILL NO SOLUTION!!! So now I have decorator hockey pucks... don't waste your money or time. Doesn't deserve one star.

I really enjoy this little guy, I need to buy a few more.
