This speaker is awesome, sound is good and clear...

I got the dot for free. Easy to set up and made of good quality. The problem I found it did not always work and that is frustrating. Had to turn off and turn back on so it could reconnect with the internet I assume and that didn’t work all the time. I am just glad I got it for free. When it work it was good.

Bought ring camera and this came free for purchase. The dot wasn't available when ring was picked up. Came available 4 days later, I was out of town working and wouldn't get back until day later. They denied me the product 6 hours after closing doors previous night. Spoke with store manager and customer service and they wouldn't give it to me.

it loses the wifi constantly....I have to keep on connecting the wifi

This came as a freebie with the purchase of a large screen TV. I'd rather have had a gift card or future discount, but free is free. Some people trust Amazon and Alexa to eavesdrop on everything going on in their house. I don't so I had no use for it. But I was able to sell it online for $25, so that turned out OK.

I got this at a discounted price! My grandma loves it! I put in her room and she could now play whatever song she wants or ask info from alexa whenever she wants to! Useful!

I am sure i would take way more pleasure out of the dot if I had more smart things to connect to it. However it makes me happy when it plays music for me, or my audio book. But it makes me most happy with the reminders and timers i can set without finding my phone.

This is a great start to learning IoT technology. I love the music options. Will be buying more of these for my family at the $29 price tag! A ton of information triggered at the sound of your voice.

If you need to play music you better be sit close to ask -you have to have Wi-Fi in order to play any thing and app on your phone. It does have good sound to play music but not to use for your tv. It would be nice if rechargeable instead of keeping plugged in.

Well, I was not very excited to purchase this echo Dot. But I got it anyway now, I am in love with it. Its smart and very handy. It understand my ESL English better than other Voice control devices.
