I LIKE THE DOT. iT IS VERY EASY TO HOOK UP AND USE .

We love these dots. I got one for all of the kids for Christmas. Being able to just talk to them in their rooms from the kitchen or from my room without having to yell upstairs is great! lol

Now, I control my smart devices and just ask Alexa if I have a question without seeking my phone

It is supposed to enhance my TV experience but I have not hooked it up yet.

It is a super great product, a very good product, it has served me well in my home, I suggest it to my friends and family, I give it maximum points.

Kind of confusing set up and took a lot of time and attempts to get it working properly.

Amazon makes really good assistant speaker devices. I use it daily for smart light, weather etc

Very useful for me. I use the intercom “drop in” feature so I don’t have to tell across the house. I also got a good deal on a smart light for five bucks and I really like that .

Great audio quality and easy set up. Have it in my kitchen and it makes such a fun difference.

Never could get it to work but since it was free I didnt try to exchange it. I don't have problem setting up the connections because I worked for At&t DSL and Comcast internet service. It is a bad product

certainly an improvement over 2nd gen echo dot. better bass and like the heather gray on the speakers over the hockey puck look from the previous gen.

I definitely should have made the move to purchase an Echo Dot sooner. This device makes my life so simple. I love it so much that I purchased one as a gift for my parents!

I got it on sale along with 4 months of amazon music so it is what it is i aint complaining lol

To my surprise, the performance of this third generation isn’t as good as my second gen. Granted, it can technically go louder and, in theory, DOES have better sound quality. However, the speaker itself keeps peaking/breaking up. And it isn’t a problem that’s linked to the volume, though I do notice it more when I have it at a louder volume. But even at its lowest volume, my music and podcasts will very frequently break up/pixelate. Granted, I got this during a Black Friday sale, so for the price, I maybe shouldn’t complain, but I expect better performance quality from Amazon. I’m incredibly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend.

Great to have around the house. Love how you can link several of them to play music at the same time. Very user friendly.... but also very fragile. Ex: one fell out of my 5yr old’s hand (about 1 foot height) onto carpet floor and now it doesn’t work properly. I own 5 :)

Good smart speaker. It is easy to connect to WiFi.
