I already own the Echo and bought this as a gift and glad it was the newer generation. I like the newer style and the white color fits with the decor as well.

I had it linked to my Amazon account. After having a few parties, I realized that I kept getting random things added to my watchlist. (I have some friends that think they are funny!) Having it linked to an account could give other people access to it. Overall, I prefer my Google Home.

The NSA is probably using this and your e-devices to monitor you. Or Amazon. Or Google. So I guess if you don't mind constant surveillance, then it's probably a handy device for checking the weather or a sports score hands free.

Love my Alexa. Sometimes I have to wait a little in order for it to work after plugging it in but other than that it’s amazing.

This product is good for listening to music but I don't like the fact you are not able to control it better. The base is so deep you cannot here the lyrics of the song. When you tell it to mute it should stay until you tell it to unmute.

for $30 this is the best household timer ever! I can set laundry timers, multiple cooking timers, reading timers for the kids....and it does other stuff too!

The Echo dot make my live easier, can sync with the internet and just use voice control to do a lot of stuff. Love this color.

This is my second echo dot purchased. I like the idea of having different colors to blend into your area. Nice for background music not audiophile.

My daughter is using this speaker in her room. The sound is okay.
