We used our 2nd gen dot outside because it’s portable and like an idiot I left it out over night in the rain so I had to replace it. The 3rd gen works even better as far as distance and understanding for voice recognition. If I leave this one out in the rain I’m sure I’ll get another one :)

Love it. especially at the price. I do have better sounding smart speakers but this is an entry level purchase

I got this smart speaker for free with a purchase for another device and I absolutely love it. I use it to set a time, play music, turn on/off the TV, play games, etc. There is so much this device can do. I would highly recommend it.

My kid wanted an Echo for their birthday, I bought one for him. That lead to liking them so much we've bought6 more and have Alexa all over the house! Great product, I didn't think I'd really use or like it until we tried it. Sounds great as a speaker with Amazon music or Apple Music. Love it!

I purchased this for my Mother for a Christmas present. She has a difficult time working electronic devices. No issues here! I set it up for her in a very short time and she is using features and devices she has not been able to work before (bluetooth speakers, audio books, and more). I couldn't be more pleased - nor could she!

I received my first echo when purchasing another item. I was hesitant because of privacy issues, but realized that I’m not saying anything that’s all that interesting for any spy to listen to. Lol. I went back and got 2 more echos. I’ve set up a network throughout my house and can stream XM and hear it in every room.

The Echo works well and is a good product. Created by Amazon but sold by BestBuy, this one that I purchased was available with same day pick-up, whereas purchasing directly through Amazon it wouldn't be ready for 2 months. And, pricing was better through BB. I would recommend.

This so the second Echo device I’ve purchased. This one is a gift for a friend who needs to operate her indoor lights when coming home after dark. She loves it!

What can I say Alexa never disappoints I really enjoy being able to make commands or simply ask Alexa to do something for me and it is done. Alexa is great just for when you want your favoriting played or want the latest on updates news

Omg, I love it. I called alexa all day. Turn on i. The morning for music. Easy to connect to labtop and other devices.

Significant upgrade over gen 1. Much louder, clearer sounds for Music and detects your voice better. Also nice that it has a built in battery to move without loosing power. So far happy with the upgrade.

The sound is loud and very clear! I really enjoy this device so much I got more all over the house. It uses my security cameras as motion detectors and I can hear motion detected what ever the cameras name is. I’m learning all it can do.

With the price point this item can be used in multiple rooms, and they can all be linked together for room to room music

Absolutely love this product! I got my first echo dot as a Christmas gift and started turning my house into a smart home. Wish I would’ve done this sooner. Since I got my first echo dot I’ve purchased two more for different zones in my house. Absolutely recommend this product for everyone!

So, I already have an echo, which I love, so why dd I need a dot? Well, I put it in my bedroom so that I can turn on plugs, lights and alarms with a voice command. Before, I actually had to reach for a switch to turn on a light! I also use the dot to talk to somebody in the room with the other echo. Nice. Don't have to get up.

Where do I begin.... Ahh Prime Days.... Where Prime Lied and I got a better deal at Best Buy after digging up the sales ad that showed I purchased 2 @ $50. Our grandson loves to yell at "Lexa" to tell her to stop singing and our newest grandson was put to sleep thanks to Alexa playing lulaby's when he visited

Its nice and compact. Its has great sound and loud volume with no distortion! Responds great to your voice even from a distant room. There is one thing I dislike and thats the fact that its not battery operated which means you have to have it plugged into the wall every time you use it. If it wasnt for that it wouldve got 5 star rating!

Works great, connects to almost any music source, Bluetooth speakers, you can use it to control your smart home thermostat lights and everything, I have three of them in different areas of the house, love it, even though I think she Yves drops on everything I say, but what woman doesn’t (hahaha)
