    For a basic setup its pretty simple. I have mine interfaced with my tv and surround sound system through a Harmony hub and a tplink plug to control a lamp. You definitely need to be tech savvy for more complex setups.

    These are convenient to have around the house. To get information or just some music. Speaker isn't the best though. Alexa can answer a lot of questions but not all of them. But, that's what the other platform is for!

    I use my dot in the bedroom but because the main Alexa is so sensitive it picks up the commands for dot. The Alexa is 3 rooms away. I have to speak quietly right next to my dot or Alexa responds and takes over.
