Novelty factor wears off quickly. sketchy service with always On mic. not easy to setup. if you have an iPhone or iPad, save up your money and get a HomePod (and Apple Music). Only reason you may want Echo dot is if you already have great sound system and want some sort of Listening device/Mic in your home to play music or something.

It works really well but needs some but fixes to make them great

Lots of IT issues. Disconnection from WIFI. Having to set it up over and over

based on minimal usage...is not able to answer many of our questions; does not pick up the "Aleza" prompt very well, often must be within 10 ft and looking directly at the unit when playing Sirius FM, does not know the artist is nor the channel number forrecipes, like the option to send to phone, especially since sherattles off theingredients too fast tobeof practical use (as opposed to google which lists each slowly)

My daughter really loves this item just had a hard time activating it becase i have a older android phone

Just simply makes life alot easier. No issues. Would recommend.

Very slow device please buy gen 4 instead. Overtime this device hangs up or drops the Internet connection.

This Amazon Echo is exactly what I needed. It gives me the weather and sports score.

Got it for a friend as a gift, I assume that he will like it for the new home that he just purchased

good speaker to connect with alexa that is really affordable. looks for black friday sales and you wont be disappointed

Works great for my kids rooms- they love setting sleep music. Just make sure the rooms are accidentally networked to play as one!

I use in the Garage while I am working. Working good. Some times she doesn't listen to me, must be a Female Microchips

Positive: Alexa connects to almost everything you can think of. Negative: Alexa is way more complicated to set up then Google home.

I feel for the speaker around $30 it is the best value there! Alexa is awesome and getting better with each generation

Be sure to disable any functions you don’t won’t readily accessible like purchases. Otherwise great product!

But compared with Alexa I see few glitches like voice not getting recognized easily need to repeat not much customized options etc

I like the product. It works well. I don’t put five stars as the sound could be improved in the future.

I like it but don’t love it because when you give a command 1 out of 3 times she says she doesn’t understand.

I was told I got one with the purchase of a tv. They didn’t have any in stock. I came back later and the informed me the item was already picked up. I didn’t get the echo and the were no help.
