Well, finally got into 21st century with echo. It’s pretty cool, but doesn’t do everything I thought, but I don’t regret purchase

It’s just sitting in a box because all my devices are Alexa enabled. I haven’t had a chance to try this generation of echos.

Not sure what the settings were suppose to be on my iphone but the music kept stopping mid song and then start again 30 seconds later?

Be sure to disable any functions you don’t won’t readily accessible like purchases. Otherwise great product!

Can’t be used as solo speaker…very weird! That was the main reason why i acquired it

If you have an iphone, siri does everything this can

Novelty factor wears off quickly. sketchy service with always On mic. not easy to setup. if you have an iPhone or iPad, save up your money and get a HomePod (and Apple Music). Only reason you may want Echo dot is if you already have great sound system and want some sort of Listening device/Mic in your home to play music or something.

good speaker to connect with alexa that is really affordable. looks for black friday sales and you wont be disappointed

I use in the Garage while I am working. Working good. Some times she doesn't listen to me, must be a Female Microchips

I like it but don’t love it because when you give a command 1 out of 3 times she says she doesn’t understand.

I feel for the speaker around $30 it is the best value there! Alexa is awesome and getting better with each generation

based on minimal usage...is not able to answer many of our questions; does not pick up the "Aleza" prompt very well, often must be within 10 ft and looking directly at the unit when playing Sirius FM, does not know the artist is nor the channel number forrecipes, like the option to send to phone, especially since sherattles off theingredients too fast tobeof practical use (as opposed to google which lists each slowly)

Getting use to it and how it works with my devices

I'm not impressed. Alexa struggles with providing accurate, applicable answers to questions. In our home, we don't have all the smart home gadgets, so we aren't able to use Alexa for controlling anything, so maybe I'd find her more useful in that capacity. Alexa has basically become a toy that we ask questions just to see how far off base her answers will be.

I cant get any device to connect to this speaker Ot was free but doesn't work

I am convinced Alexa hears what she wants. It's a great product overall.
