    Purchase this item being aware of its purposes and limitations. If you have a smart home, there are tons of things you can do. In my case I don't have a smart home, and use it mostly for timers and radio, it does those well too. But without having a smart home, the value is less

    Used it a few times to see what features the device had and what information or fun facts it could provide me at a moments notice. However Alexa started speaking without any one activating her and that was it for me. Instantly disconnected.

    Alexa is not my favorite product especially after I found out that you cannot delete the stored data. It's disconnected now and in the basement, waiting fora future civilizations that will visit Earth to find it.
