Latest generation of the Echo Dot for half price and a smart light bulb thrown in for free was a deal too good to pass up. Everything works perfectly with fairly easy glitch-free setup and everything was in stock for same day pickup at the local store.

I I’ve the Alexa. If you have a the Alexa be the lightbulb right next to the same wall, they sometimes have problems connecting. Overall, the Alexa is very responsive and helpful. I also recommend adding the ”skill” called drunk Alexa. It’s SO FUNNY.

Looks great and blends in well with a modern style home and the microphone works quite well. Sometimes too well when it activates from hearing Alexa or something similar out of context. Works great with smart home devices and is a great price for all of its functions.

Nice to have this small unit outside for music while cooking. Alexa can sometimes be challenging...

Great item and a useful tool for anyones house. Love being able to set multiple timers at once, get answers to most questions, and have a news feed played for me each morning. Highly recommend these. The sound quality of the Gen 3 is great, and much better than the other versions.

I am able to ask Alexa to do a few things that work with some smart home features I have. I use it a lot when I start cooking and I ask her to set a timer and playing some cooking music so I can have something in the background. Easy to use with the Alexa app.

I already own an Echo and newer Dot, so was pleasantly surprised that the sound from this unit is nearly as good as the 4th gen. I have a set of powered gaming speakers with a subwoofer plugged into the 3.5 jack of this Dot and now can make my entire house BOOM playing music on the multiroom function. Highly recommend.

Bought one for me and another as a Christmas gifts for my teenage niece and son. I'm not sure who loves it the most, but we are all getting good use of it. We mostly listen to music, get daily weather updates, news, traffic, and set reminders. I also plan to use it to control my bedroom lights.

Purchased for my mother for mother's day and she absolutely loves it! Being able to play music and turn on lights by voice is what she needed. I think she will be amazed of all the different things she will be able to do with the dot.

My Husband & I bought this for our Son's 15th Birthday so he could listen to Pandora since there is hardly any reception for a radio. He absolutely loves it & so do we because we don't have to walk across his room to turn off his light, she does it for us.

I have my Echo Dot in the garage and I am enjoying it. It was free with a purchase we made and it took me a while to hook it up. It was an easy hook up...just took some time to get it set up. I use it in the garage to play SiriusXM and Spotify. Nice little item.

I love this. I bought one on Prime Day and now I have 3 of them. Alexa is so helpful around the house and she helps keep me organized. I would recommend this to a friend and I have been. The Echo Dot changed my home in to a smart home, and I love it.

google can't understand me most of the time but this does. I pulled one star as I really do not like the 'app store'. I see 2 or 3 versions of somethign and I can't find the official one and it gets very hard for me to install new skills. Also adding new lights and stuff the first time is ok but then if you add new lights after i dont know how to get them in. it had better voice but less better interface than goog.e

Amazon echo dot 3rd gen is an excellent smart mini speaker for your home. It has excellent bass treble and overall volume to suit your needs. If you have other fire TV, it integrates beautifully. You can use it as external speaker using in built aux audio port. Look and design is awesome. Where it clearly outperform home mini is the proper button checks. Where home mini has an area and relied on your haptic touch to perform an action it has 4 dedicated buttons which is much easier to use. It's blue ring led is very nice to look even at dark, it's amazing. To sweeten the deal, I got it free during black Friday.

I've bought several of these Amazon Echo Devices and while they all perform almost the same tasks, this one is especial since it's small enough top put in every room and still have all the versatility of its big brothers. Very recommended and good colors that will match with your home decor.

I decided to dip my foot into home automation and routine building by starting with an echo dot. It's easy to set up and use and doesn't experience much, if any, problems. I like the physical microphone disconnect. After a week I already started expanding into other rooms.

It's Alexa turn out to be one of the best things that I bought this far I was able to link her to everything my TV cell phone house phone alarm system music and it all works not only doesn't work for my things that works for all of it items in my house Trulia best gift ever

I use my Echo dot to play music, make purchases from Amazon, to set timers and operate my lamps/ smart bulbs.

I’m happy using the phone feature and it is really great playing music. Family is nervous about privacy issues but it is on my WiFi so I doubt anyone can get use with out password. Overall for now great. Just ordered two Flex units for other areas.

Love this item. So convenient when I’m wanting to turn music on. I don’t have to mess around with choosing a station etc. I can also tell it to raise or lower the volume. I use it to turn on lamps and lights in the house. Great little tool and toy.
