I love it and the grandbabies love it because they can play different songs and they get to play sing along with it they get to ask a questions and she answers it she lets us know the weather or she lets us know the time and if we want to hear a particular song she played it for us.

I like to sleep with my rain sounds and I play my music all the time in my room

I like the microphone on this device. It seems to be very smart. It recognizes my voice with pinpoint accuracy. It did not need any training and recognized my heavily accented English. Even people had problems with my English. In most cases it answered my questions thoroughly and with confidence.

I have my Echo Dot in the garage and I am enjoying it. It was free with a purchase we made and it took me a while to hook it up. It was an easy hook up...just took some time to get it set up. I use it in the garage to play SiriusXM and Spotify. Nice little item.

But I am glad it came as part of the package...I do have Amazon Prime and using this really is cool...I tell it to shuffle music and it does...ask for weather, it provides....and my kids love it. They've actually used it to get homework answers. I almost got the new one, but for not, this works.

Great item and a useful tool for anyones house. Love being able to set multiple timers at once, get answers to most questions, and have a news feed played for me each morning. Highly recommend these. The sound quality of the Gen 3 is great, and much better than the other versions.

I like the audio quality it has, I use it for music, transferring messages and controlling smart devices

Alexa, it’s really good. She help me a lot to get music anything when I am busy in the kitchen I just talk to her and then she answer to me.

Amazon echo dot 3rd gen is an excellent smart mini speaker for your home. It has excellent bass treble and overall volume to suit your needs. If you have other fire TV, it integrates beautifully. You can use it as external speaker using in built aux audio port. Look and design is awesome. Where it clearly outperform home mini is the proper button checks. Where home mini has an area and relied on your haptic touch to perform an action it has 4 dedicated buttons which is much easier to use. It's blue ring led is very nice to look even at dark, it's amazing. To sweeten the deal, I got it free during black Friday.

Got this for free after buying a Ring security system and honestly, didn’t want it or think that I needed it. The more I use it, the more I like it. Just ordered a 4th gen Echo dot today. It’s great for playing music and we plan on getting a few more to use an an intercom system too. Every once in a while it doesn’t quite recognize what you say but I think it gets better as it learns your voice. Kids love it too!

To be clear: I love Alexa, and love having control over the various lights inside and outside of my house. I have an Alexa Show and 2 other Echo dots, in addition to this new Echo Dot. I haven't really noticed any difference in performance, or how well Alexa listens with this new Echo Dot. It does however look quite a bit better, so I think that's worth something. Still, not really much of an upgrade from the previous generation in my opinion. Works great though for what I needed it to.

I love all Amazon products !!! I put this in my kids room , I am able to communicate with them through the Alexa app and also they love to play their music on it .

Wow this cool A I is awesome. I can voice control my lights with Akexa. Also i ask her the weather forecast , word of the day. Also i linked my current Sirius XM account and listen hands free. Lots of features.

Excellent little info base to have in any room of the house, All you have to do is ask Alexa and you will get the current weather, news and whatever music you like. You can even play Christmas music in July!

This is our 4th Alexa, we actually purchased this one for my parents and the love it! They love being able to check the weather, ask about music and any other random thing they like! Totally worth it to bring them a little joy every day!

I decided to dip my foot into home automation and routine building by starting with an echo dot. It's easy to set up and use and doesn't experience much, if any, problems. I like the physical microphone disconnect. After a week I already started expanding into other rooms.

It's Alexa turn out to be one of the best things that I bought this far I was able to link her to everything my TV cell phone house phone alarm system music and it all works not only doesn't work for my things that works for all of it items in my house Trulia best gift ever

Great little speaker! I have other Alexa devices so it works along with them in the Alexa app. I had trouble connecting this at times and it would often lose connection. That was frustrating but not a problem with the overall product. When on sale, it's a value but I would recommend buying these only for additional rooms in the house. Look for an Amazon Show product as this is very limited.

Got this one for my basement because I love being able to just ask Alexa for music and not having to turn anything.
