I love this. I use it whenever I getting ready for work to ask it the time and the weather. The speakers are great. I’ve had a get to get her with some friends and we used it for music. It’s really loud

I highly recommended this product if you are upgrading from Echo Dot 2nd Generation! Great Sound! Easy to use! the only thing I'' suggest for next generations is Audio In Jack so it can be used as speaker

I think I got this free when I bought the Ring camera. I dont use this thing. I think it just records my conversations and sends them to the Oval office. Im 48 years old, no use.

I bought this product a year ago for less than $20 and It's still working, I didn't realize this product was that great, I can use it as speaker. Also I can manage my whole house with this smart home. That's just amazing!! Clear motion camera, and motion detection.

Plugged this thing in right out of the box and it’s stuck in an infinite reboot/crash loop. Factory reset doesn’t help. I’m extremely disappointed.

The Amazon - Echo Dot (3rd Gen) was easy and fast to set up. The quality of sound is surprisingly good considering its small size. I wish it had zigbee like its larger and more expensive version.

Echo dot works well on its own, ie letting you know about the weather/traffic/news/music but best if you have other devices you can control with it. If it only did that, I'm not sure if I'd like it as much since you can take 5 more seconds and do that on your phone too. Although I do really like how easy and responsive it is when it plays music, volume is excellent. But cooler than that you can install lights that will respond to Alexa, and if you have a fire stick/fire tv it can control almost anything there as well, making walking into your house and telling Alexa to turn on the lights, tv and whatever you want to watch all while holding your groceries easy!

I actually only wanted to give this 3 1/2 ⭐️ but it wouldn’t let me. It is a pretty neat little thing but sometimes it doesn’t work. You have to repeat yourself before she responds(sometimes )unless you stand right over it and sometimes she answers with random facts instead of what you asked. I thought she was supposed to link to Spotify but she doesn’t or I just haven’t figured out how to do it right, so anytime I ask her to play music she goes directly to Amazon music. I have also asked her for appointment reminders and she didn’t remind me. I tried to set up a nightly reminder(to play at a certain time) and that only works sometimes. Didn’t pay a lot for it, I guess you get what you pay for.

Doesn’t hardly work when pairing with my echo show and constantly having to reboot for it to work. Echo Show is just as bad. I wouldn’t recommend to my enemy.

Nice, compact unit that lets you live the Alexa world. Sound quality isn’t the greatest but it cost me less than $20! However you can plug it in to higher quality speakers via Aux port or Bluetooth. You can also get external battery packs for these to make it a wireless portable standalone smart speaker. I also understand that you can tune or shape the sound via an Alexa Equalizer app which does provide some sound improvement. I have not tried this yet.

I am your regular customer and I have pay more them every other store. I saw on Amazon and Walmart have chipper then your deal of days.

Was told it would work well to boost our signal, but our internet reception never improved. Big waste of money. "

Another door buster that came with the TV bought for the girlfriends family. I wouldn’t put on in my home. It’s always listening.

commercials make it look like it does all kind of things it is no more than an accessory for a smart phone. brought it back for a refund

I purchased one for my living room. It got nonstop usage for over two weeks. My kids were in love with it. My teenage nephew even took it in his room a few times to use it. So I got him one for Christmas. My kids got a Google Home Mini from a family member. But it proved to be too difficult for a 4 and 6 year old to operate. It required too many apps to operate the same way the Echo does. I dont like having too many subscriptions. And the Home Mini required just that. So we exchanged it for another Amazon Echo. Easy set up. Easy to set routines for my kids like bedtime and alarm setting. I also like the Parent Mode that controls what they can listen to. No need for the kids version Echo. This works just fine. They can also call me when Im out, no phone required. Im gonna regret that later lol. But its a nice feature as I dont want them to have cell phones at this age. Sound quality is just as good as a house phone. It has a nice modern, simplistic style. Everyone loves it. The Google Home Mini was much harder to set up on the app. The customization on the Home Mini was much more complicated. I found myself downloading more and more apps, just to make it function. All the apps I have for my Echo is Tidal for music, and Amazon Alexa. We’re up to 3 Echos. I’ll get another one when we get a bigger house lol. But maybe one more wont hurt. I recommend this for anybody. Kids as well.

Took to long to setup. Still does not work the way it is supposed to. Even though is was supposedly free not worth it.

I was supposed to get a free bulb with alex n u guys didn't give me the bulbs are supposed to be 2 off them

Purchased this and had to wait a few weeks for it to be delivered. the speaker is very muffled and sounds like it is blown out
