Loads of fun. Especially for my mom who is visually impaired. She can play trivia games and get the weather and time, etc. by asking Alexa. Sounds kind of corny but it is awesome that she has a way of getting news; weather; time; etc. without having to see it. Love it!

It's nice to say "Alexa play my music" and it works. I thought I would have some fun with it, so I asked it this question. "Alexa would you tell my wife I Love her" , Alexa replied " I could, but it would sound better coming from you" , we both had a good laugh at the answer it gave.

I enjoy Alexa turning on and off lights, giving recipes, telling jokes, setting alarm and giving weather info, etc.

This is something i use all the time with my kids for music and setting timers for cooking, asking about the weather. So many things she can do for youbwith your wifi enaled products too. All around great purchase.

Great to have. Asking any questions to telling Alexa to add items to grocery list which goes to my phone and keeps them in categories which makes shopping easy. She even turns lights on and off when told

What a wonderful little device!! Anything you want to know or listen to just ask, we love it!!! Little device with big enough sound which was a concern but it most certainly does the trick. A+ review

The newest generation of the Dot is the best looking and sounds better than previous versions. Happy with this one.

A great replacement to keep me company in a new environment, the Echo Dot packs great quality sound given its size, keeps me up to date with news, weather & reminders as well as set up for keeping in touch with family members. In short: I'm happy!

This was my first Amazon-Echo Dot. I already have 2 Google Homes and 3 Google Nests. This seems to work about the same as those. With the Echo though she listens a lot more than the Googles though. I have the Echo in my bedroom and when I first got it, if I turned over in my bed it would light up waiting for me to say something. If I have a question she's real good at almost always having an answer.

This gift came with my blink surveillance camera I ordered and my moms love it, She tell it to play music and ask it what time it is and sets it for wake up calls with her voice. I also got an extra one free when I ordered and extra blink camera at Christmas time. What a great deal.

Second verse, same as the first… no hassle setup and use. Love to tell Alexa to play an entire album; sometimes just one song. This is my second dot, and I may need a third!

I recently purchased the Echo Dot for our guest room and it's amazing. The sound is much louder than you'd expect from such a small speaker. I have a lot of items int the house that are Alexa compatible and it's really handy having it in the guest room as well.

I absolutely love the Echo Dot. We recently moved into a new house and we have purchased Echo Dot for every major room in the house. We are using smart bulbs, switches, and plugs along with Alexa and the Dots to convert to a smart home and we are loving it!

We love our Echo Dot. We just say "Echo, good morning" and she gives us the weather forecast, reads our calendar appointments, and reads us a fact from Today In History, which is one of the options we chose. She is also a pretty good speaker for playing music.

This Dot has improved on its capability of understanding from far away… The sound is also quite clear. overall, if Amazon listening to everything you are saying or doing is not a problem, this is a great product for a great price. Especially for home automation…

Handy to ask questions, useful doing crossword puzzle, getting caught on news in the morning, and listening to music. Grandkids love asking help on math jomework.

It makes life easy if you know how to make good use of it. I can control the smart devices in the house. I can play music in multi rooms. I can drop-in and communicate with my kids in their room. I can drop an announcement to all devices. There’s so much more!

I use this product everyday and I love it. I would absolutely buy again.

If you’re on the fence, and this product is still at sale price then do not hesitate. For $30 this is an excellent purchase and it’s convenience/use will come with time. At first you may be skeptical of how it will be used and benefit you but the use as a speaker alone is very nice.
