My Echo Dot is great. I have no complaints and it works as it was made to work. Alexa is my smart friend. Lol I like how it is connected to your Amazon account and can do "Amazony" things like place orders and give updates.

This device is perfect for the not so technical person. It is easy to setup and use. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed using our Echo Dot (3rd Generation). We are seriously thinking about purchasing the larger Alexa so we can control multiple items in our home.

Works good and very convenient! Small and easy to use. Loud enough to hear around the house.

When I feel like listening to music all I have to do is ask Alexa to play my favorites for me. Also very convenient in turning off my LED lights from a distance. Loved this so much I bought 3 more for my family members!

This is my first step into the whole Amazon Alexa world...pretty simple...and my kids get a kick out her jokes. It's nice to have music play in the kitchen while I cook or if I need to know the weather before running out the door... totally worth the price on sale..;)

It's an Echo Dot. It's Alexa. You talk, it listens. This one has better sound, but here is what it doesn't have: Micro USB power input. You give up flexible power source with this echo. No battery option, no reusing old phone chargers. This has a DC barrel that Amazon will happily sell you a replacement. Keep that in mind when choosing your dot.

Just plug it in and follow the instructions to set it up on the internet. Once it is connected to your wifi it works fine. But there are few instructions on how it works or what the features are. The manual that comes with it does not even tell you what the buttons on it are for. Sometimes it lights up for no reason. Found out this means it has a message, but could not figure out how get it to deliver the message. Needs better operating information.

I have two Echo dots and one Echo Plus in my home music group. Loved the ease in setting up the group and in the process of adding additional dots to the music group throughout the house. Great value when 2 dots are purchased. Wish I would have ordered these sooner.

Love that this Echo Dot will respond to ANY voice, though you can still add your own to make some responses quicker perhaps...though we've never had any problems with "Alexa" understanding anyone's voice commands in my home.

This is a great little device. I use mine in the bathroom, because I have the echo show set up in the kitchen. When I’m getting ready I can listen to music, very clear, loud, and can also check the weather, etc..., for that day as I’m getting ready.

We’ve never owned a device like this. It’s great in the kitchen! Play music while I cook, have Alexa set multiple timers and my kids who never get to go anywhere due to Covid played games with her for over an hour last night!

perfect preferably I think that this product is better than the echo show for the manual one period this product it can hear you and it's very distinct and your request that you want from Alexa is very reliable and it is fast.

Really great! I can operate my Nest thermostat by simply asking it to turn it up or down, or off. Ask how hot or cold it is before going out the door. I actually have two of them. It actually came free with my Ring doorbell.

Plays music from my Amazon Music account. Plays iHeart, Spotify, and others as well. The sound is very good for such a small speaker. We use it to create a shopping list too. Great value!!

Great device that provides an extra layer of function to my small classroom. The music is soothing to the students and when we are practicing the timer is awesome.

Bought it to replace an original echo speaker. Wifi seems to be better strength. Sound fills our entire living room and even up to loft above.

Like most people I have these all over my house. The newest 3rd generation update improves the speakers both with hardware and by their placement. It does make it a bit more difficult to wall or ceiling mount them though so if that's what you need to do, consider opting for the 1st or 2nd generation versions where the speaker was not on the sides. But if you are just placing it on a desk or table, this one is ideal.

It is the best thing I have ever bought it help a lot.
