We have one of these in every room and would not be without them. We love to talk between room, and I love that it can do a lot of the functions of the bigger one for under 20 bucks

She listens to everything you say literally, all music which is included with Amazon music or anything else you need but remember it is documented like all conservations

I listen to music and turn up the heat in the morning when I don't want to get out of bed. I'm sure it does lots of really cool things, but I haven't explored the options as yet. Came free with my Ring camera.

Straightforward installation, I use these around the house to control my home automation system. I prefer this over the Echo Show because I do not use a screen for anything and it does not support Arlo streaming yet.

I like this Echo dot just fine, but think it induces us to a sedentary life style. I use it sparingly, but I can see that it would be a wonderful device for those who have mobility problems. It is a very attractive device that does not distract from any room setting. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who has mobility problems, and even to others who just love playing with gadgets, like myself!

We use these across the country to stay easily connected. The DOTs are super simple to setup, as easy to use as asking a question, and useful for reminders and alarms. Alexa's uses are almost infinite and those uses grow in number each day.

The best thing about the dot is how easy it is to take to a different room or out on the back patio. Stream my Sirius/XM radio over it with no problem, and he sound quality on the dot is surprisingly good.

I am heavily investing in the Amazon ecosystem, so I have several Echo Dots around my home. Great for Music as well as timers/reminders. Speaker is very clear and powerful.

I got this Echo dot as an upstairs accessory so I don't have to yell at my Echo show downstairs. It was easy to set up and works perfectly for. I also bought one as a Christmas gift for family members new to Alexa and they love it.

Excellent portable and powerful speaker. Fully integrated with the app and now I have one of these in every room to make announcements tell me the weather and many more things.

I like the fact that I can listen to music without having to have a big radio. However I didn't realize that I would have to subscribe to amazon music to be able to pick what songs I wanted to listen to but listening to just the plain radio is free.

This was my first echo dot, I purchased this because my Ecobee couldn’t do everything the dot could. It connects to my Bluetooth sound bar, controls lights and answers me when I have a question. Every morning I get an update and have set many reminders

Bought this to add to my whole home WiFi system. Synced flawlessly with my wireless systems. Now I’m able to contact my kids without having to yell or physically go to their rooms. Loaded with options and lots of functions.

Got this a free gift with the purchase of Sony TV. I did not use it for the first few months but now it gets used every night. Spouse loves the sounds to go to sleep with using Prime music of thunder and waves.

Purchased to replace a second generation Dot that has gone a bit flaky with WIFI. The sound is MUCH better, although I won’t be replacing my other Gen 2 Dots for this reason alone. However, it is worth spending the extra $10 to get this latest version.

The sound system on this is PERFECT! Alexa gives you so many things and answers to any question. It fits perfectly on any desk or nightstand! Compared to the Alexa 1st gen it’s much sturdier and better quality

Always wanted one of these. Now that amazon has redesigned this new generation, it makes it even more appealing. I am able to control my Hue lights and smart plug connected to my Christmas tree but also get information, time etc. I highly recommend it.

Now a days, who isn’t on their phone? Pretty much everyone is. Alexa helps you do things like remind you to do soemthing, can answer calls, send text messages, even turn off the light for you (if you have the light plug in). Who doesn’t want all that?!

What a bargain. I have been wanting to add voice assistance devices to my garage and kids bedrooms to complement the devices I already have in the rest of the house. All promotions counted cost me $64. + tax for three Dot's. I created household groups and can play music throughout the entire house or select rooms. Replaces alarm clocks and provides individual customization for each room. Packaged well, easy intuitive set up right out of the box. Plug and play with a little interaction of the Alexa app. Highly recommend Amazon smart devices and Best Buy!
